Nice place to visit, away from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi centre. The Pagoda lasted 2 World Wars and a piece of Hanoi history. Great Fun but exhausting . Had to give up after 45 minutes as our legs ached too much . The Lake is quite big and is a bit Polluted . Noticed Several Dead Fish floating here & there . The path felt like it was not a path and now and then we had to get on the road to carry on. You could see through the board, sometimes wobbly ones, right through to the bottom. We enjoyed it. Scenery was something we would not have seen otherwise. Some interesting things below the bridge not in built up areas. No car or motorcycle from Friday night to the end of Sunday. And this is the place where Vietnamese young people exchange foreign language with the tourists.
