Puzzles were interesting with a mix of high tech and combo locks, hands-on puzzles and mind puzzles. English-speaking moderator was excellent at giving hints that guided us without giving us direct answers. Takes cash and credit card (although credit card machine is finicky so cash is preferable). He was organised and kept us informed about the itinerary every day. Everything was planned perfectly and the places and activities we did were just amazing. - Neil M1 contributionThankyou Hong for organising our 2 night Mekong river cruise on our private boat Gheko Eyes.This was the highlight of our 3 weeks in Vietnam.Our tour guide Kin was fantastic and the crew so freindly.
Having a smaller 1 bedroom boat made it easy to cruise through the smaller waterways and see more of the Mekong Delta and also to stop at small ports
The food and dining onboard was amazing
Highly reccommend this cruise for something completely different from the larger boat cruises

And also to authentic adventures agents who are soo kind for everything that we need from bus sleeper, to the transport of the tour , the drivers are very accommodating and friendly , from the hotel the place are beautiful , and the food we can't forget our experienced , a memorable one. - Thinusa T2 contributionsHoa and Hieu provided us today with a bike tour which my husband and me enjoyed a lot. We learned about Vietnamese history and traditions. Both are very knowledgeable and took us to a lot of places especially to a great restaurant . - Very FrancardoBasel, Switzerland18 contributionsThe Ha Giang Loop adventure with the Easy Riders has been full of great moments and breathtaking views. The group was small (10 ppl) so we could really create a nice atmosphere during the travel. Most importantly, our drivers were really experienced and responsible, and always made us feel safe, even when the roads got more difficult and there was heavy rain. During the loop, we always made breaks to take photos, go to the bathroom, and get a coffee, and the places where to stop where chosen very wisely, to avoid crowds and to enjoy the best views. The leader of the Easy Riders, Cua, helped a lot in taking the best group photos (and this is definitely a plus! :) ).
I would like to add the “cherry on the cake”: Cua and the riders made me a surprise birthday cake on the second day of the loop! I will remember this birthday forever! This tells a lot about the kindness and the friendly spirit of the group.
We really recommend Chestnut travel agency, because we felt really taken care of: they messaged us to check if we had been picked up by the bus, if we arrived safe, and if we enjoyed the experience.
Thanks Chestnut travel agency and the Easy Riders for these beautiful days in Vietnam!

- Marta M21 contributionsI'm reading these absurd negative reviews about Flipside Tours and I couldn't disagree more!!
I took a 3-day tour with Flipside staff through the Ha Giang Loop, and it was the best experience I have ever had.
1. I felt so safe. The easy riders are SO experienced with every condition of the route that I couldn't be more impressed with their skills. My easy rider was Hoa, and I really enjoyed spending time with him.
2. Easy riders such as Nguyen, Thien, Vong, Hoa, and others were great guys, creating a friendly, fun, and party atmosphere. They love karaoke, and I really enjoyed spending time with them every evening. Plus, they knew when to stop partying, which made me feel comfortable knowing they wouldn't have a hangover the next day.
3. The guys did their best with English, which I really appreciate. Note for travelers (or tourists, I would say) - c'mon! Don't complain about the level of English - not everyone has the same chance to learn properly! You can use a translator if you need to...
4. The easy riders are locals, so it's an amazing opportunity to support them and their community.
5. I LOVE the GIVING BACK projects that Flipside does. We had the chance to buy essential food for the poorest families and give it to them in person. That was such a meaningful experience, and I definitely want to do more to support the Ha Giang community.
6. Rest stops were every hour, which met my needs for a break. If the route was particularly bumpy, we stopped for a few minutes just to stretch our legs (and butts).
7. The homestays were SO comfortable. The girls had their own room, and the boys as well. You could also ask for a private room. If you're traveling in the winter, expect it to be cold. Let's normalize that - bring layers, warm clothes, and don't complain there's no heater. jesuschrist, it's the mountains during winter! XD Don't go if you need luxury; go if you want an ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME!!!!
8. The routes were off the beaten path - we were usually the only ones on the route, which made it a more memorable experience with the best views.
9. Meals during the route (and in homestays) were the most delicious I had during my trip in Vietnam.
