What travellers are saying
- QuentinChristchurch, New Zealand11 contributionsVery sobering trip. We had a private tour guide that shared his family experiences and made the visit sadder. Very good exhibit.Written 7 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Willem vThe Netherlands341 contributionsBeside S-21 this is a must-see if you visit Phnom Penh!
We took a tuktuk, Grab 20,000 Riel, and the trip took 35 fascinating minutes due to the traffic, roads and views. Driver waited for us, so that is easy :-).
Entrance, with an audio tour in your language, is $6/24 and that works well! It is horrifying to hear the stories and see all the graves of the innocent Cambodian killed by the lunatic of a Pol Pot and you wish this would never happen again.
Regretfully, we still have lunatics like Pol Pot on this planet who kill their fellow countryman of soldiers for their stupid ideas :-(.Written 12 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Not quite comparable to the Grand Palace in Bangkok, but thankfully nothing like as crowded either. The visitor entrance is in a pedestrianised area with a park in front extending to the road on the banks of the Mekong. Also worth walking past at night to see it lit up.Written 6 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- AggieB15 contributionsWe were sorry there is no longer a cafe but this is still well worth a visit. Hugely important fundraising through well priced lovely art and craft. So close to the Russian Market it's very easy to stop by and feel good about your purchases or donation.Written 27 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lost In AsiaSingapore, Singapore2,620 contributionsInteresting place, plenty of stores and stalls, many counterfeit products, mani pedi cure, salon, gold shops, hardware store, food stalls, money exchange, lingeries, etc.Written 13 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bill M2 contributionsAs a group leader for a small tour guide company I booked a Nekong River Cruise with Inside Travel and worked withvtheir local travel Expert Hong Nham. We began communicating and planning my cruise months before our trip. Ms. Hong helped me choose the right boat, the right itinerary, and length of the cruise. We had a wonderful time and every aspect of the cruise was patch perfect. With a very tight window between our departure time in Phnom Penh andvour flight at tge sirport, Ms. Hong went out of her way to arrange the speedboat to depart earlier with a quick turnaround at the border and a speed van to the airport. We could not have been more pleased with our service from Inside Travel and partucurly with Ms. Hong Nham. We will definitely use their services for all our future trips to Vietnam. Thanks Hong!Written 26 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

The premise is well maintained and we got a guide as decent price which was very helpful.
