Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Do the dinner cruise. Look for the cheapest rate because I don’t think it makes a difference. We booked one at a fabulous low rate snd it was so good! Lovely boat and arrangement. Nice views of the bridge and mosque and you get to watch some traditional dancing including the whirling dervish dance which thankfully is short. I understand when they said you can’t keep watching that for too long. There’s even a belly dance at the end. Food is not great but if you pay extra for alcohol everything is fine then;)

Go in April if you like tulips. We went in the first week of April so tulips were in bloom at that time and it was beautiful. They had different rows of them in different colours and such lovely huge tulips too.

It’s beautiful, tulips are blooming, there is a pond with turtles and fish and ducks. The only thing is that we drove into this park from afar, but didn’t find anything particularly unique. if the park is far from your location, the trip may not be worth it, but this is our subjective opinion, it will be beautiful in any case

One of the most beautiful aquariums in Europe. Quite expensive but worth the money. It is a very good place for children.

    Amazing views of Istanbul!

You use the public transport card: the Istanbulkart which is available at tram stations and most ferry terminals.

The Golden Horn ferry runs from the Karakoy ferry terminal right next to the Galata bridge. It’s a local ferry, not an expensive tourist ferry

Best to ask when you get there as are different ferries leaving from both sides of the bridge. It a smallish ferry as it has to fit under several bridges.

Cost is $1 US each way. Get on in Karakoy, ends at Eyup Sultan terminal where you have to get off. You can get straight back on (another dollar) and it leaves within 15 mins, or the ferries run every hour during the day.

Very unhurried and not many passengers, makes half a dozen stops along the way. Trip is 40-45 mins each way

The Pierre Loti historic site is also at Eyup Sultan. Cable car, cafe, historic graves, etc

Beautiful park and good restaurant for breakfast or a snack and drinks. It's on a hill though, so take the métro to Yildiz (new branch line just opened), walk a few blocks, gets you to an entrance near the top so you can enjoy as you leisurely walk down. Fun elevated rope bridges through the trees. Ponds and waterfalls.

We took a 2 hours boat trip from Besiktas area to this island by ourselves without any tour and it costed us almost nothing. The island is a nice place with beautiful villas to explore and terrific views of the beach up from the hill. There are no cars on this island only electric vehicles and bikes. Lots of dining options and several cafes in addition to lokma and ice cream shops. Don't forget to get a souvenir from one of the street vendors.

Beautiful park for refreshing retreat from unrelenting pollution, endless vehicles, unwavering crowds and ceaseless noise.

Be in solitude with nature. Hear your own footsteps rustling the fallen leaves, greet the occasional mortals, salute the endless oak trees and gulp in pure clean air.

This park is a gift, a reprieve for one to standstill and be grateful.

Logistics: train M2 to Haciosman (final stap at the end of the line), bus 42HM to last stop (aka 'terminal), walk to entrance.

There was an “offer” where it could additionally be taken a professional picture at the aquarium of you and your friends. That photo was a green screen ,so I believe the the prices are overrated. On the other hand we were happy to see sharks, although the aquarium was a little small

I love going to Galataport area. It’s a nice area to go for a walk with many coffee shops and restaurants as well as a shopping mall.

One of the amazing places in Istanbul, Turkey. The location is at the Western side of Istanbul. It is a very nice place specially in sumner times. Besides the seaside and alongside it there are lots of shops and restaurants and most famous for fish sandwiches which is cheap and delicious. A good place to relax and spend a good time with family.
