What travellers are saying
- lifenadventureDubai, United Arab Emirates1,760 contributionsA gorgeous photo stop for sure. Really beautiful even though it was the winter, the colours were amazing and the clouds were hanging low. The stores are trying to sell to you constantly and charge you to take photos with the swings and hearts. Just take your own selfies. Really lovely photos stop!Written 20 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- DominiqueVBOud-Turnhout, Belgium134 contributionsTake the funicular up (which by itself is already an experience), for about 21 GEL (retour).
You arrive with a restaurant to your right and a café to your left you feel like trying either, or just go straight ahead into the park.
It's a (somewhat dated) amusement park with mostly rides for kids, but it's well maintained and fun to have a look at even if you don't have children. (The rides are paid individually).
There's plenty of places where you can get food and because you're on top of the hill, great panorama's all around.
If this isn't high enough for you get, take the ferris wheel. Bring a coat cause it does get windy.Written 27 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Houssam DayoubSafita, Syria12 contributionsA wonderful getaway place to relax and enjoy the natural greenery. Although it is in the city but you feel like you are out of Tbilisi city.
Walking under the trees, the colorful seens, flowers, sounds of the birds, river and wonderful waterfalls: all make it a great experience and enjoyable walk.
Kids will enjoy the Zip Line, the facilities, and walking.
Great views to take unforgettable photos of greenery, river and waterfall.
We spend about 3-4hrs and wanted to come back later to enjoy more of the different parts of the Garden (Japanese Garden - Mediterranean Garden and others).
You can plan your visit to Botanical Garden as part of your tour to Mother of Georgia and Narikala Fort using the cable care form Rike Park to go up the mountain then go walking down to Botanical Garden.
Fees are reasonable.Written 10 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - noushindiesiraeParis, France144 contributionsa really nice place to spend time in nature. - arvind1000Pune, India2,223 contributionsLeghvtakhevi - ‘fig gorge’, in Georgian - is located behind Tbilisi’s renowned Sulphur Baths. This beautiful waterfall is now reachable through a series of paths and bridges behind the baths. A popular location to relax and stroll about, it is worth a visitWritten 20 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- arvind1000Pune, India2,223 contributionsAs we walking around Tbilisi on our own we came upon Rikes Park. This park is located on the left bank of the Kura (Mtkvari) River. It is easy to access from the Old Town via the pedestrian bridge now famous The Bridge of Peace.
One of the interesting aspects of this park for tourists is the cable cars, which takes visitors over the Kura (Mtkvari) River and Old Town, as well as up to Narikala Fortress.Written 21 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Pompom22210 contributionsFor it's price (2 GEL) it worth, but do not except some fancy zoo full with animals. It is a small zoo, but they have some interesting animals and I think all is all it could be good choice for spend some free time. The zoo would need huge developmentsWritten 19 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Tabori TerraceTbilisi, Georgia11 contributionsNice park but still not many activities to do there, luck of flowers and fontains. But still a good ideaWritten 17 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- The World is My OysterOrlando, FL19,375 contributionsThis was pretty close to our hotel, right off Rustaveli Avenue. The park had a few benches, as well as a cool fountain and some historical statues. Pretty tranquil place to relax.Written 27 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mohammad QutishatAmman, Jordan2,211 contributionsThis is a nice small waterfall in the city, near the Sulphur baths, go past the baths, it is hidden behind the last bath, it is easy to miss, I thought it was the end of the road and was almost about to go back, look for the bridge with locks, the waterfall is right across from there.
It is a quick detour, and you can’t go in or near, as the area is closed, nonetheless, it is still a nice natural spot in the city and a good photo opportunity, just don’t get your hopes up.Written 27 February 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - The World is My OysterOrlando, FL19,375 contributionsCool little park in the old town, and next to the famous Turkish and Georgia Bath houses.
