    Best way to see highlights of Northeast Korea in 1 day.
    This review is for the Mt. Seorak and East Sea tour. Chance Kim was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable. Enjoyed talking with him throughout the tour about Korean culture, history, and experiences in Korea. Highly recommend this tour.

    Review of: Mount Seorak + Nami Island + Garden of Morning Calm Day Trip from Seoul
    Favorite experience outside SEOUL!
    We are in Seoul for 6 weeks, and I have to say this is one of my BEST days so far. I took my 7 year old daughter, and we clocked 11 miles today and she was a champ!! We had Ray as our tour guide, and was just the absolute best. It was actually pretty crowded the day we went since it was a holiday weekend, but he helped us to navigate the crowds and went out of his way to make sure everyone was comfortable. My daughter even left her iPad in his car after he dropped us off at a meeting point. We panicked, called tripadvisor, and he drove it back 30 minutes later on his own time. What a guy!! He was also so knowledgable.

    As far as the sights you will take in- BREATHTAKING! I have travelled all over the world, and this was just unbelievable. The cable car was full at Mt. Seorak, but instead Ray hiked us up to a waterfall that we wouldn't have had time to see otherwise. The views!!!

    Nami island is a must do- it was just adorable and everything about it was magic.

    DO THIS TOUR! You will not be sorry!!!!

    If you are looking to get out of the city for the city for a day and experience nature, this is the perfect way to do it.

    Review of: Private Hiking to Bukhansan Peak(Baegundae: 836.5m) with Mountain Expert
    View that took my breathe away
    The trek was one of the main highlights of my trip to south Korea. Was an amazing workout and the view was incredible. I wasn't quite prepared for the highest peak but my guide took me to an equally beautiful place. Mr Chance Kim was very friendly and kept a good pace i could stay with on the way up and back. He was very informative and we had a great chat about life politics and silly things 😜. We also had an amazing Korean meal after the hike, which was just what i needed after the hike and their food and service was amazing! I would definitely recommend this tour and i will be looking to get back and do another hike with Mr Kim when i can get back to seoul.

    Review of: Mountain Folklore Hike with Buddhist Temple and Hiker Restaurant
    Engaging and Meaningful Experience
    I had a really great time, I was pretty out of shape and inexperienced but Shawn was very kind and accomodating. He is very knowledgeable about Korean history and Buddhism and local history so it was very engaging to listen to the legends and learn from him. It was great conversation in general and the hike was fun, the temples are beautiful, the wind is mesmerizing, highly recommend!

    Review of: Skip the Line: 63 Building Observatory + Aqua Planet 63 Combo Ticket
    Not worth the visit
    The ticket price to go up to the observatory level is not worth. There are nothing at the top except a small cafe. Namsan Seoul tower will be a better choice.

    Lilly was a great host
    The mountain is incredibly beautiful and Lily did a great job with the tour. It was a great day. The spa sorry seemed authentic.

    Review of: Private 1:1 Ski Lesson near Seoul, South Korea
    Great day at Elysian Ski Reaort
    Chance picked our family of five non skiers up from our Seoul downtown AirBnB early and whisked of to Elysian Ski Resort approximately an hour & half’s drive away for a fun packed day of skiing

    Roughly two and half hours of tuition was provided before lunch with an emphasis on safety (especially falling safely so you don’t wipe out other skiers or hurt yourself). After lunch we had roughly 3.5hrs of skiing. Ski lifts aren’t included in this tour but are heavily discounted if you allow Chance as a tour operator to purchase them for you (18000won versus 55000won if you were to purchase them yourself)

    By the end of the day everyone was reasonably happy flying down the beginner slopes and suitably knackered on the trip home.

    Chance was very chatty and helpful to the extent that one of our party who was returning to the UK early ended up arranging for Chance to provide an airport transfer

    Overall a great experience. Chance was a good instructor and in regards to pick ups etc was very reliable

    Review of: Everland or Lotte World Theme Park Day Trip from Seoul
    Everland Theme Park, South Korea
    Everland Theme Park is the biggest thme park in South Korea. It is 1 hour drive from Seoul. Our tour group was at Everland Theme Park on a Sunday, April 7, 2019, hence, as expected, the park had lots of visitors. The park features Panda world but its location is somewhat far from the main or central area of the park, hence, our group decided to forego the panda. But midway to the panda site is the Tiger Valley featuring 2 big but bored-looking Tigers. The shops inside the theme parks cater primarily to kids and children. We wish there are souvenir items like key chains, ref magnets or mugs and souvenir spoons featuring Everland Theme Park or bearing the ID or name of the theme park. Unfortunately, we did not find these souvenir items in the park. BTW, Everland Theme Park is owned by Samsung of Korea as explained by our Korean Tour guide. We enjoyed our lunch at Venetia Pizza inside the park. Overall, it was still an enjoyable tme we had at the park.

    Review of: Bukhansan Mountain Private Hike with Lunch
    Don’t miss this Seoul experience
    We hiked with Eric who was a fabulous guide. He is fit and considerate. He carefully guided us all through some of the rocky parts. The hike can be done in runners but hiking boots would be better if you have them. It’s steep and rocky in sections but you can stop regularly and rest. We walked to the temple and then to the peak at 555m. The walk is 3 hours but you stop for parts so it’s about 2 hours of walking. There are lots of steps at the temple. 108 to go to the Buddha carved in the rock. It’s worth the effort.
    At the peak Eric had prepared fruit snacks and coffee which was a lovely surprise. Coming down we went an easier way as my sons knees were sore.
    Then we had a delicious lunch of dolsot which is a traditional rice dish. Eric showed us how to eat it and even took all the bones out of the fish.
    Then we did the sauna. My 13 year old son was not keen but 16 yr old daughter and I liked it. Take a change of clothes for after all the spa baths. We did the scrub and massage with facial and hair wrap. Was invigorating and relaxing!
    Eric was a fabulous guide and made the day so much more than just a hike in the mountains! Highly recommend this tour.

    Review of: Full Day Nami Island and Garden of Morning Calm Tour from Seoul
    A Must-See
    Nami Island and Garden of the Morning Calm are sights to behold. They are very scenic and picturesque, made more meaningful by a well-trained and knowledgeable tour guide. There are wheelchairs for better accessibility and a well variety of restaurants to choose from when hunger comes. It was not totally spring yet when we visited but maple trees were already showing some colors. I think these sights are much better to see in spring and winter. I wish we had more time to spend but the time we had was well spent.

    Review of: Make Your Trip Around Nami Island With a Photographer Tourguide!!
    A Memorable Experience
    Andrew was very kind, patient and informative. He took as many photos as I wanted (and I wanted a lot!) and made sure I saw as much of Nami Island as time permitted. He knew all the perfect places to go for the best photos. Even after our tour ended, I ran into a issue and Andrew was willing to help me and solved the problem! I would highly recommend him as a tourguide any where in South Korea!
