My friend and I went on a camel ride with Fox and his camels Casanova and Mickey! It was an amazing experience riding past the pyramids and the Sphinx! The desert, was spectacular! And the pyramids even more stunning! Thanks to the BEST guide Fox, for such an amazing experience. He knew the best spots for pictures and was very friendly! Thoroughly enjoyed this experience! Will definitely recommend Fox! ❤️

It was an amazing couple of hours riding, i was made totally at ease even with my lack of experience. I felt comfortable with the horse i was riding and felt completely safe. Nicola was great at explaining things and the horses she has are well looked after. Riding in the desert with the pyramids in the background has made this experience unforgetable.

We had a great time with Cairo Layover! The tour was amazing! They provided to us a unique experience and they were very kind and protective! We enjoyed very much the pyramides and museum tour, as the guy who was with us was excellent and gave us lots of information regarding their history! I think this is the best way to visit Cairo and live a full experience!

Amazing experience. We were picked up from our hotel in Giza and taken to a cozy horse stables where we met the owner. He showed us those stunning pure Arabian horses we’ve heard so much about. Then we took a beautiful ride in the desert by the pyramids and had a chance to see what Egyptian countryside looks like. Such an unusual experience to see a piece of real Egypt, hidden from the eyes of tourists! All people were very friendly, everyone was smiling and waving at us, really hospitable nation. The desert was just wow, jaw-dropping views! Delicious Egyptian dinner was waiting for us after the ride. Highly recommend to all travelers, looking to explore real Egypt.

I requested a personalised two-day west bank tour, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Shereen was our guide. She was knowledgeable and entertaining. We were happy to have a female guide because the two male guides we had before asked inappropriate remarks to our female companion. So I highly recommend requesting Shereen for your private tours. The drivers were also great (Ali and Tarek). The downside was the upselling of stuff, but we were clear from the beginning that we wanted to avoid it and would not rush our tour.

We had such an amazing time. Getting to see everything in person that we'd seen over the years on TV and online was mind blowing. Having a driver and a guide with us almost every step of the way was wonderful. There were so many things we learned that we'd never have known without having such skilled guides. Aside from being so knowledgeable and accommodating, Fatma, Samar and Affaf were so much fun and always made sure we had a great time. We had a jam packed itinerary by design. As a group I'd say we may have been a teeny bit high maintenance, coming with a very long list of places to go and things to see or do, but Fatma was able to fit it all in and planned it all out for us. It took five months of planning but was well worth it. Right before our trip the events in Gaza and Israel began to occur so friends and family had concerns based on what they had seen on the news, but we weren't going to cancel our trip. At no time while there did we ever feel unsafe, in fact we didn't see anything concerning at all in relation to the conflict. This trip was really the trip of a lifetime so if you are wanting to experience all that Egypt has to offer I'd definitely recommend going with It's My Egypt and Fatma!

    Overnight train Cairo/Luxor/Aswan
I make regular trips to Egypt and in order to save time always use the overnight train run by Watania .
It is hard to find good points beyond convenience.
The staff are very good, diligent and helpful. The food is not haute cuisine but (believe me)this is not the Orient Express. The hot meal in the evening is invariably chicken and rice but well prepared. The coffee is probably the worst one will ever experience. But that is not the staff's fault. The breakfast is ok but not to my taste - too much sweet bread and awful coffee.
The bed linen is impeccably clean and fresh and that is where the cleanliness ends. Without exception, on all my trips, the cabin was grimy and poorly cleaned. Curtains were stained with
food residue of uncertain age. The mirror had many fingerprints and smears. The tap and the wash hand basin needed a thorough clean. The mattress was far from comfortable.
    Hot water? Forget it.
I would challenge one of the company's directors (or partner) to experience an anonymous overnight trip in one of these 1st class cabins.
My description could be applied to every trip I have made on this train. Everytime I board, I know what to expect and the cabin lives down to my expectations. Why do I repeat travel - simply to save time (and grit my teeth). Don't ask about the quality sleep.

My husband, Tom, and I had the most amazing adventure through Egypt for Americans, October 2023. We have the highest of expectations when we travel, and we were looking for the ultimate, customized trip. Our every expectation was exceeded. From Cairo to Alexandria, Luxor to Aswan, we experienced the best Egypt has to offer. The Nile cruise was our first cruise, and I believe it will be hard to match the experience. Highlights included Giza and ascending within the Great Pyramid, riding a camel, enjoying the Mediterranean, and having a meal at the home of our guide Egyptologist Gaber Omar. When circumstances changed, leading us to depart one day early, every effort was made, ensuring that we experienced everything on our original itinerary. I highly recommend Egypt for Americans.

After a day rich in visits and emotions, what could be more pleasant than letting yourself sail on the waters of the sacred river of the pharaohs, while enjoying a delicious typical meal and attending an oriental folklore show? I propose this two-hour cruise, on the Nile, in Cairo, aboard the 5-star Andrea Maady boat. In the program, typical Egyptian dinner freshly prepared, belly dancing, dancing of whirling dervishes and oriental music. After dinner, transfer and return to your hotel.
