I have been to Yogyakarta twice and took the same guide each time. what a great team, they did everything to make the best of it. Everything was comfortable and they were very flexible if we wanted to see more along the way. I definitely recommend the combo package from Ijen, Bromo & Merapi. Thank you

The museum contains valuable paintings of the Sultan's family, and exhibits such as batik depicting Javanese culture. The grounds are beautiful but photography is not allowed until in a special area at the conclusion of the tour, which is just outside a restaurant. The guide was excellent, but she spoke very fast. Visitors must use a guide, either English or Indonesian speaking, and the prices for either differ quite a bit. I think we chose one who spoke Indonesian, but either way, it would turn out good as, based on what we saw, the items on exhibit were esthetically interesting and educational.
    There's plenty of parking.

A pleasant place to enjoy art and a very strategic place of course and very easy to access from within the city of Jogja or outside the city of Jogja

Requires some gut as you will be going down a rope about 60 meters down into a cave. They provide shoes but be prepared with suitable clothing as you will need to do some kind of short hike. Lunch is provided in the package

The view of the light is amazing. But it has to be a sunny day or else you can't see the effect. Can take a lot of photographs.

Coming back up is also being pulled up the rope. Do not worry about safety as you will be provided with all the climbing harnesses and equipment.

Visited temple as part of trip to see Prambanan temple. Catch a golf buggy to give your legs a break. The drivers will wait for you to explore the ruins and take photos. Temple complex is (slowly) being reconstructed, but viewing the standing/reconstructed temples within the debris is very interesting. Contrasts with Prambanan - not as grand, but still worth seeing and exploring

I went on a Saturday night and the road was packed with people but it had a really lively atmosphere. There are many stores for shopping and to buy souvenirs. There is also live music along the road. The only downside was that it was really hard for us to book a GRAB because the place was congested.

Lovely temple with very few visitors. Took about an hour to explore. Is open on Mondays, so a good option when main temples are closed.

Interesting visit. Note that the price of the entrance doesn't include the guide visit that is optional. However, my guide expected a tip of 4 times the price of the entrance, which was quite surprising.

Tamansari closes at 3pm and we reached around 1pm on a Thursday, luckily it wasn't too crowded. The castle is well maintained and pretty but personally it wasn't breathtaking. Still worth to visit though.

Being from India and also as I am in the midst of reading the Valmiki Ramayana(there is a traditional ritualistic method of reading), the Ballet experience was amazing. The narration in the form of a dance-drama was very apt in so far as the story (mind you it is a 24002 couplets story) could how well be abridged for the dance-drama to convey the essence the epic. Hats off to Indonesia for giving a wonderful glimpse of this great work which is most sacred to the Hindus. There could not have been a better venue for this classic programme than the precincts of the mighty Prambanan Temple complex. Words are insufficient to convey my appreciation of the Indonesian Government for preserving their ancient culture and traditions despite their transition to other cultural practices'.

Pantai Timang island, the gondola ride and rope bridge are WELL WORTH VISITING!! The beach, ocean and scenery are absolutely breathtaking, but half the fun is getting there!

I rented a scooter in Yogyakarta for 110K IDR and drove for around 2hrs, before I needed to park up and rent a jeep (300K) for the last section. The last section of the road is really bad and it's pretty much impossible to drive that yourself unless you have a 4x4 car or dirt bike.

Anyway, if you want to see the whole journey, check out my video review on my YouTube channel - G Light Travels!

It takes 15 minutes if you are buy all in ticket from Prambanan, you can choose some pick up bus from prambanan every 15 minutes. So far Ratu Boko Temple is ordinary temple only the park and usual temple. But the good thing is the resto has a good and romantic view
