Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- ochassotSanta Ana, Costa Rica953 contributionsSeaside Dampa is a large fish market where you can buy your seafood and have them cook (for a fee) at adjacent restaurants. Seafood is absolutely fresh, but also comes very expensive so be prepared to spend at least USD 40-60 per person, much more if you chose pricey items like lobsters or sea mantis.Written 13 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Czar EmmanuelManila, Philippines6,268 contributionsLocated just a few minutes' walk from the iconic Church of the Black Nazarene in Quiapo, this market and fishport is a popular destination for both local and international shoppers. The place is quite small and untidy and non-air conditioned, but it gives you a chance to immerse yourself fully in the local culture. It's divided into two sections. One is where they sell dry products, and the other one is where (you might have guessed) they sell wet products. You can haggle for lower price, if you're good at it. Just outside the market place are eateries, where you can try some local dishes (like pancit and palabok). You can also catch a glimpse of the not so clean Pasig River and the Quezon Bridge crossing it ... another famous landmark of Quiapo district. To reach the place, you may take any public transportation going to Quiapo, or try the Pasig River ferry and get off at Quinta station.Written 8 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
