Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The wine tasting with Kalin as host was a really good experience, worth all the money.

We tasted some fantastic wines with local grapes and cheese, while he told us about Bulgaria's wine history and tradition (without it got boring, as you sometimes experience).

It's really some good hours spent if you're in Sofia. Definitely recommended!

Absolutely my favourite wine bar in the Balkans. Exploring local wines with someone who knows his stuff. Kalin is a maestro and his range of Bulgarian wine is second to none. Come inside and be surprised, educated and welcomed.

I tried this bar with a friend, and the experience was very positive. This is a very nice wine bar... great wine collection and excellent atmosphere... A bar to add to your "must go" list in Sofia

There are two Crafter bars in Sofia ,one along Hristo Belchev and this one along Knyaz Boris I ,we visited both on our weeks holiday in Sofia, this was probably the best but both were superb.
Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here,a light and airy interior, great decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar, it's a very cool bar indeed.
We were here on a Sunday night, bar was busy with a great atmosphere, we were greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff, we chose an ipa each ,these were were served in excellent condition ,we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great bar we were in.
My ipa was exceptional, a crisp, well balanced ipa with a big hit of hops ,a totally delicious ipa indeed, while sipping our beers we already had our next beer picked out, my brother went for lager style beer while I went for a pale ale ,again we were served two great brews ,my pale ale was a classic pale ale, full bodied, hoppy but not over hopped, very easy on the tongue, my brother also gave me the thumbs up to his beer.
We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and for a first time visit we were totally impressed with this bar.
This Crafter is easy to locate along Knyaz Boris I .
    Opening hours are;
    Monday, 4pm till Midnight.
    Tuesday & Wednesday, 4pm 1am.
Thursday to Saturday, 4pm till 2am.
    Sunday, 4pm till Midnight.
A wonderful bar,one I highly recommend you visit if your in the area.

The best wine place in town! The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and very elegant at the same time. Cellar 52 offers an incredible wine selection from all around the world, exquisite and niche wines that will make your tastebuds so happy.
And, of course, the loveliest people that will tell you such interesting stories about every bottle in the shop and with whom you’ll have the most pleasant talks. Don’t miss this place when in Sofia! :)

Excellent service, and great music selection. The cappuccino was really nice, and I found a lovely leather coat, among a selection of vintage jackets. I thought the complimentary glass of water was a really nice touch. The café is often visited by a lovely, friendly cat.

Great place to spent a cozy evening trying French wine with cheese and also a really good wine chop. The girl who works there speaks English very well and knows a lot about wines. The design of the place has a lot of interesting details. We really enjoyed our evening and will definitely come again!

The bar is at the back of the former palace/art gallery. The building itself is from a time when Bulgaria was trying to cut its ( cultural) connection to the Ottoman empire and establish itself as an European country. This and many other buildings in the area are designed by famous European architects. The back of the building, along with the pretty , tranquil garden give the impression of something Vienna-like. You almost expect some classical music.
The owners of the bar, on the other hand, seem to have the idea to create something pseudo - modern, and loud contemporary music puts the bar out of place. The menu is just average, the service - not exceptional, but not bad in any way. So nothing bad, just unmemorable.
Sad, that the place does not attempt to built on its unique location, but rather settles to be one of many insignificant ones. The name ``tobacco`` just speaks for itself too :)

Found just by chance, this place is a must for anyone who loves good wine, great local cheese and cured meat.
Talked to the owners for hours and was pleasantly surprised how friendly and welcoming they are.

Small and private is ideal for anyone who wants to talk and enjoy life. Not chaotic and with soft music on the background you can easily have conversations while enjoying the amazing selection of wines and craft beers

    100% recommend it
