However, one night after dinner while walking in town I passed them again and witnessed the spectacular color change. They became a WOW and I stood and watched for a few minutes. - Neil KLiverpool, UK828,871 contributionsLocated on Slaveykov Square we found this lovely looking fountain and although it wasn't in working order probably due to the cold weather this time of year it added a splash of interest to this mainly shopping street .
The fountain looks superb,makes for some great photographic opportunities and is most definitely well worth checking out if your in the area.

The fountain looks very evocative, obviously very old and makes for some great photographic opportunities, it's a fine piece of architecture and is most definitely well worth checking out if your planning on visiting Banya Bashi Mosque.

Although not working when we visited probably due to the cold, the two fountains have a female figure in the centre,I can imagine on a hot day with the fountains in full working order that these fountains would look superb,very photogenic indeed,adds to the joy of visiting this very eclectic green area of Sofia .
