What travellers are saying
- NikitaRipanj, Serbia5 contributionsI cannot imagine someone visiting Belgrade without seeing the fortress in Belgrade. This is the place where history of Belgrade from different periods meets and mixes and one should visit this place as it is just few minutes away from the city centerWritten 12 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- G2KpaulyMelbourne, Australia1,513 contributionsI loved walking down this street afew times and even dining in a nice restaurant here. It's a great spot for people watching and enjoying the nice weather. It's a lovely street!Written 6 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Traveller67Singapore, Singapore223 contributionsKalemegdan Park is beautiful with lotsa trees and open spaces. We visited in June and there was a lovely scent in the air from the flowers and trees in the park. Like perfume but not overly strong. I have not visited a park like this! Good for walks for the young and old. The park also attracts many young couples and pda to be expected. Don't miss the highlight of the park, the Monument of Gratitude to France.
Next to it is the Belgrade Fortress. There are quite a number of steps to climb before you reach the fortress viewing point. May be difficult for elderly. Nearby is the military museum and dinosaur park for children.
We did not see public toilets here but you can find them across the street at the malls in Kneza MihailaWritten 19 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Miyoko G366 contributionsA nice quiet park for the long rive side walk and stop by at the cafes. It's free to enter and just relax and do some sports inside.Written 25 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- DavidMalaga, Spain4 contributionsThe temple of saint sava is one of the greatest temples i have seen. The guide told me that it is the biggest temple in the countryWritten 20 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- anakin147Belgrade, Serbia35 contributionsAmazing activity for anyone but kids were so delighted we will surely be going back.
The staff were super friendly and helpful, but Aleksandra was soooo great our son was in love 🙂Written 14 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Diego BRipanj, Serbia3 contributionsGreat view, away from the city center.
It is a bit hard to get here by public transportation and the best way is either if you rented a car or if you know some locals who can take you thereWritten 19 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Eaton_OutGreenville, SC434 contributionsThe best way to see the Upper Danube is by ship. There are many cruise lines plying the river and they will dock and take you on many excursions as you cruise. The Lower Danube is over a mile wide in places.Written 8 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- AlbertSalichsManresa, Spain9,745 contributionsJosip Broz Tito Mausoleum is the place, where rest the President of the Yugoslavia disappeared country during almost all existence of this country (the building is known as House of Flowers). Here, you can see the mausoleum and some information about their life. In fact, it is very interesting to know the recent history of Serbia and their surrounded countries. Also, in the full complex, you can visit some expositions about Yugoslavia and some gifts, which Tiro received during his life. Very interesting all, but sometimes it seems a tribute to president/dictator

Ancient history well covered and more recently quite good but nothing on 20th century developments. Some nice paintings if nothing special and you can see why recent Yugaslav painting is justly neglected.Written 20 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- NikitaRipanj, Serbia5 contributionsThis is the place where you go after few days of exploring the city center. If you rent a bike or rollerblades then I the enjoyment would be complete. Bring a blanket to relax on a grass or visit some of the places to have a lemonade or a glass of wineWritten 12 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Brittany_11_10Los Angeles, CA1,601 contributionsFree outdoor museum that's part of the Belgrade Fortress complex (also free to tour), with a number of tanks, cannons, and various artillery to check out. Definitely worth a perusal if you're visiting the fortress anyway, or maybe even as a specific trip to see some historical war items.Written 9 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ogi0Sofia, Bulgaria18,375 contributionsVery interesting small Orthodox church, which is located within the Belgrade Fortress. The first church was built in the 15th century, and the existing building was reconstructed in 1925.Written 6 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
