Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great job with modern, unique jewelry. Walked out with a beautiful enameled ring in the colors of the sea. A very patient and helpful woman helped me to pick it out. Wonderful memento if Montenegro & our two week cruise

A very good place to buy souvenirs. The prices are ok and you can easily enjoy some offers. The place is known as Bazaar of Kotor as well as looks like one. Worth a visit.

Free gallery of a huge variety of art - this was a great unexpected find in Kotor! It's on the bay, just south of the city walls, and filled with interesting things. It's an abandoned shipping company that has been taken over by a community of artists who do residencies and put on galleries.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but go up to the second floor. There is a huge range of styles and subjects of art from Montenegrin and Russian artists - everything from religious sculptures to political cartoons to displays made of salvaged materials to abstract paintings. The extremely nice woman in the gift shop gave us an interesting and detailed tour of all the art on display. She even took us up inside many of the artists' studios. It was a one-of-a-kind experience, and totally free!

The gift shop there is also great, with creative, handmade souvenirs that are a little more quirky than the ones everyone sells inside the city gates.

We entered this museum in the old town (right behind the Cats of Kotor Museum...) and the 5 Euro admission included our admission to St. Paul's Church as well the Church of St. Michael. I'd recommend you go to St. Paul's Church first to take in their movie that provides insight to the challenges the local people overcame in restoring old town Kotor after the 1979 earthquake. Amazing period film footage that certainly made me appreciate what I (and other visitors to this lovely city) see now in 2023. What an amazing task they have completed. Enjoy.
