Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had a great experience on this tour and happy I decided to take a private tour over the traditional bus tour as I was able to have some great conversations with my diver Tavi. He was very knowledgeable of the different places we toured as well as a good photographer and was happy to help me capture some moments.

A great trip, long day but well worth it. Sonia was our guide and she was amazing. Great info given in Peles castle which was stunning. Bran castle a bit of a let down, no guide and we were not offered audio. But there seemed to be a bit of a disconnect of history, either focusing on the more modern history and the spin to Dracula. But that was no fault of the booking company. Brasov was very pretty and we had some free time to look at the black church and a mooch around the shops, but also nice places to eat if you are feeling a bit peckish. It’s a very long day, we left at 7.40am and got back at 21.20, so don’t book if you have plans!
I would recommend taking Romanian currency, peles takes Euros, but Bran doesn’t. There are specific ATMs to use if you need cash but the guide will show you.
Really glad I went and Sonia was such a great guide, loved her facts and her warm personality.

Two Castles in One Day - Peles Castle, Bran Castle & Brasov in Transylvania.
This was an excellent, well organised, small group day trip. Very comfortable (looked brand new) Mercedes Sprinter mini coach with leather seats and USB charging points. Our English-speaking tour guide "Jo" was very informative, helpful and friendly. Our driver also did a brilliant job of navigating the mountain roads and we always felt in safe hands. I would recommend this tour for people wanting to get out of the city for day and visit the castles up in the mountains. Just beware there are a lot of steep hill climbs!

An outstanding ,cultural indepth view of historic Romania. Emanual our driver was a pure delight with his knowledge and love of his country. He exceeded all our expectations of this tour and I will say this was one of the best tour guides I've done. I highly recommend this tour as it goes above and beyond anything I've been on before.

Our guide Tudor was very helpful and explained the history of Romania to us in a very clear way. All the places we visited were amazing and made me love this country more. Thanks also to the bus driver for making our trip so safe.

We really enjoyed this tour. Catalin our driver/guide had great knowledge of the history in the area. The bear sanctuary was amazing then followed by Bran castle and Râşnov fortress. The fortress was being restored but we still got to go the top where there were amazing views of the town and surrounding area.

Highly recommend if you are based in Braşov.

I had a wonderful experience visiting Bran Castle, Rasnov Fortress, and then a fortified church on the way back to Braşov. Our guide, Charlie, was thoughtful and funny. I enjoyed hearing about the folklore he learned from his grandmother as a child; it helped you see how much these stories are still part of the local culture. Easy pickup, comfortable car, and lots of good conversation. I don’t usually take tours but I’m glad I did this one, since I met some really nice people and saved myself the stress of multiple public bus transfers. I felt very comfortable as a solo woman traveler, too.

Adrian was absolutely fantastic. His knowledge and passion about Romania and its history is second to none. We learnt and saw so much, absolutely the best your guide we've ever interacted with. Super friendly with great English. Overall an amazing day, thanks Adrian, you're a credit to both your profession and country I can only wish you the utmost good luck in the future.

Our guide, Bogdan, was very professional, knowledgeable and passionate about local history, geography and culture.

Bogdan is also well-connected within the local community - he was able to give excellent recommendations for shops with artisan products and restaurants serving specific traditional Romanian dishes we wanted to try.

Every day of our tour was action-packed and we were able to cover lots of touristic attractions (including some hidden gems such as an old watermill and a traditional weaving mill). The destinations included in the tour were varied in nature: a bear reservation, a stud farm, castles (Bran, Peles), fortresses (Rasnov, Fagararas), villeages (Viscri), monasteries (Snagov) etc.

The provided accommodation was comfortable (spacious, clean and warm room) and within walking distance of the Brasov city centre. Our hosts were friendly and also very knowledgeable about local history. The breakfast options provided included vegetarian meals.

Firstly, a big thank you to Cristian who looked after us very well. He commenced commentary from the get go, pointing out different buildings and lots of story telling on the way. He gave us plenty of time to explore Bran castle, called ahead to find out how busy places were so he could do the sights in reverse. Well done, we skipped the crowds. Next stop Brasov for lunch, again plenty of time then on to Peles castle. We’re weren’t sure about visiting the castle, but we trusted his judgement and so glad we did. All stops 100% worth it, I will be recommending to my friends.
