Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- AnjAbu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates52 contributionsThe Dubai fountain show in Burj Khalifa is a must see attraction. I’ve been there a couple of times already and I enjoy it everytime. The show runs every 30mins in the evening with different songs/music. It’s best to watch it at night in a lake ride and at the bridge walk.Written 7 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Frances W2 contributionsHuge mall but expensive - not too many places to eat and no great food court as in most malls anywhere. Cafes and restaurants are scattered around Starbucks has 8 - eight! venues. There are lots of Concierges who are available to direct you to whatever store or attraction you want - but be prepared to walk and walk and walk… On the ground floor of course is the entrance to the Burj Khalifa - check with one of the concierges who are near the check in counter before you line up in the wrong line and waste a lot of time before you are told which line to get in depending on what ticket you buy - Premium ticket is by far the best. I was surprised that the mall had many of the mainline stores from other countries such as in UK and Canada and the States. Make sure you get a mall directory brochure - that really helped us find our way around. Also, most taxis aren’t allowed to drop off in front of the mall - so you have to make sure to get the right taxi - we got left outside a hotel initially and didn’t know to make sure the driver wasn’t just dumping us off. Didn’t happen twice!Written 18 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- DEBAKINS2Kent, UK244 contributionsWent to this mall for sightseeing. Very busy but well organised. Popped into Carrefour to pick up some gifts. Also had bubble tea which was very good.Written 29 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- TravellerDubai, United Arab Emirates347 contributionsKite Beach in Dubai is one of the city’s most popular beachfront destinations, known for its clean shores, stunning views of the Burj Al Arab, and a vibrant atmosphere. Since you visited last night, you likely got to experience its evening vibe, which is quite different from the daytime buzz.
At night, Kite Beach offers a relaxed and peaceful environment compared to its lively daytime crowd. The cool sea breeze, soft lighting from the beachside cafés, and the sound of the waves make it a great spot for a laid-back evening walk or a casual hangout. The view of the illuminated Burj Al Arab adds to the charm.
Kite Beach has plenty of food trucks and casual dining spots. If you tried Salt, it’s one of the most popular burger joints there. Other options include Parker’s for creative comfort food and Sikka Café for local flavors. At night, some of these places may have shorter queues compared to peak daytime hours.
While daytime is perfect for watersports like kitesurfing and paddleboarding, at night, the focus shifts to a relaxed experience. The jogging track is well-lit, making it a great place for a nighttime run or walk. You may have also seen people playing beach volleyball or families enjoying picnics.
Dubai beaches are known for their cleanliness, and Kite Beach is no exception. The walking tracks, public showers, and restrooms are well-maintained. Security presence ensures a safe environment, even late in the evening.
The crowd at night is a mix of fitness enthusiasts, families, and couples enjoying the cool weather. It never feels overcrowded, making it a pleasant place for a quiet escape. Dubai is generally very safe, and Kite Beach maintains that reputation.
If you enjoyed a peaceful beachside experience, Kite Beach at night is a fantastic choice. The only downside is that some activities, like water sports, may not be available, but the trade-off is a more relaxing and intimate atmosphere.Highly reccomended try once when you are in Dubai.Written 6 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alea alasmar3 contributionsThe marina area is a nice place to spent some time. It is very relaxed. The beach is close as wel as the marina of course. Enough activities during the day and more than enough bars and restaurants at night. - Abdur RahimDubai, United Arab Emirates26 contributionsThe dining options are equally impressive, with an array of restaurants serving cuisines from around the world. - schmidtmgSwitzerland1,164 contributionsOne of the engineering and architectural feats of Dubai, Palm Jumeirah should at least be visited. The artificial island in form of a giant palm tree features top end residences, luxury hotels, the giant Atlantis hotel and the brand new ultra luxury Atlantis The Royal. There is a monorail with four stops, a very convenient means to get around, and the day pass is not expensive. A water park and aquarium caters for families with kids.Written 1 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Daniyall_GWest Midlands, UK109 contributionsWe’ve been to most Dubai malls over the years and the bigger ones tend to have only high end stores. If you get the chance try Dubai Festival City Mall. It’s a good size, less touristy with a variety of shops and great food court too.
To add to the adventure get the Metro to Creek station, outside go straight across down a little path for a few minutes to get the water taxi across the Creek to the Festival City mall đź‘ŤWritten 27 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
