Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Tubby PandaPortsmouth, UK437 contributionsRight in the middle of the modern you will find this ancient village. I like places like this as you wander try to imagine what it was like minus the skyscrapers.
If you check every room and read the signs about 2 hours will be needed.
We didnt follow the guide (in Chinese) and just walked slowly around at our leisure.
We were required to provide id and have our photo taken at the entrance but we were not charged. The man kept saying "jintian bu yong qian" today dont use money/ its free. I wonder if its a learning thing as today is teachers day.
Other mention 10 rmb for entrance and if thats the case its well worth it.
There are toilets and cold drinks machines on site.Written 10 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We enjoyed our 90 minutes admiring the Nang great works of art, many relating to Shenzhen, its people, local artists, and its development. The museum is also known as the Guan Shanyue Art Museum.Written 21 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Billy BShenzhen, China3 contributionsWe took a lot of pictures of al the items on display. When we entered, they had to take food and drink away which they did not have a sign for but i understood their reasoning. There was a gift shop with a lot of books that i was intrested in but they were not on sale which was dissapointing. Still great place to vist if you are in the area.Written 4 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Rhonda MCary, NC187 contributionsThe space was impressive, especially the rooftop oasis. I enjoyed the exhibit ‘40 Years of Humanizing Technology’. It was interesting and unsettling simultaneously.Written 15 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - magicberrySingapore, Singapore437 contributionsI feel like I have travelled back in time to ancient China in this beautiful art gallery. There is a cafe and a well-stocked shop selling art inspired souvenirs like fan, bags, shawl and even bedside lamp! Worth a visit definitely.
