It was a 12 hour day - from New Delhi to the Taj Mahal and back. Three and a bit hours each way driving. But so so worth it!
We had a great guide who explained everything to us.
We organised the trip ourselves. Got a driver from our airbnb accommodation, and they got us a guide.
It really is a stunning building, the workmanship and the way it catches the light.
If you are near it - as in a few hours away I would totally recommend visiting!

An amazing place and beautiful architecture. You can meet some beautiful people here. The view for Taj Mahal from here is perfect. You can easily spenf here more than 2 hours and even get lost in all the squares and buildings

Easily overlooked but not to be missed. A stunning mausoleum set in beautiful gardens. The riverside location provides a lovely cool atmosphere.

Mehtab Bagh is realy good specially either in early morning and evening. Taj Selfie point is also near by [This is maintained by UP Government]. But parking to this place is not well mainitaned. even fater paying Rs 100 for car parking, you have to either walk for ~1km or shell out another 100Rs for local autos. Where as locals, Government Vehicles can go close to both Mehtab Bagh and Taj Selfie point.

This was an amazing experience. We are two girls who are passionate about Indian food and cuisine. This whole experience was truly amazing. Sana and her sister were very welcoming, showing us everything they were doing. At the end, we even got henna and try out some sarees. I definitely recommend this to anyone seeking a true Indian experience, with some very real Indian women!

This is an addendum to my prior review of this tour, so as to include VJ in Jaipur. VJ is cool. He’s super smart, really funny and a nice guy. As a female traveling solo it’s important for me to feel safe and that I’m in the hands of a responsible guide. VJ will guarantee a safe, informative, fun, and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!

I was really impressed with this company! We used them for transport in Rajasthan and to sort tour guides in a couple of cities. Even more impressive they’ve helped us out with Hours to spare when another company let us down! I would not hesitate to use them again! Well priced and very comfortable vehicles plus very accommodating in creating custom sightseeing tours in cities.

We were VERY happy with our experience with PCTI tours. We asked for them to modify their golden triangle tour and they we’re happy to accommodate our request. We arranged our own hotel accommodations because we wanted to use hotel points.
We had excellent communication with the tour company as well as our driver and 3 different tour guides throughout the entire trip.
A day before our trip started Mr Shakul reached out to us via what’s app to give us the contact information and description of our driver.
Our driver Mr Hari Shankar arrived promptly at our hotel and let us know via what’s app that he was out front. His car was very clean, in good shape, plenty of room for us and our luggage. He stocked it with bottled water, hand sanitizer and Kleenex. His English was good. He is an excellent and very safe driver who followed all driving rules. Each night he would wash and clean the car for us. We enjoyed his company and sense of humor.

Our first day we had a tour of Delhi and our guide was Prashant (sp). He was VERY knowledgeable and his English was excellent. We could ask him any question. We have both visited India many times for work so we have Indian clothing (kurta) that we wore which allowed us to enter mosques without renting coverups.

Second day we were picked up at 2:30am so we could drive to Taj Mahal and get there with the sun rise. We were very happy to visit the monument early in the day as it was cooler and there were less visitors. Our guide was Mr Saddam(sp?) He was very knowledgeable about the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. We decided to keep our questions to the monuments as it was clear that was his area of expertise.

That same day we drove to Jaipur. Very long day but worth it. We met our third and favorite guide Ashok the next day. He had many interests and it was clear he was a student of life. So we could ask any and all questions. He also wanted to learn about life in America. So we enjoyed talking with him. He accommodated our asks for off the beaten path for shopping. Also he rearranged our itinerary to suit our interests. He is also a fantastic photographer! We have stunning pictures of us at the monuments.

All in all a fantastic trip! We are very please to recommend PCTI tours to our friends and family as they will take good care of you.

This tour was an excellent virtual tour hosted by Akash on the AIRBNB platform.

With international tourism suspended due to the pandemic, this was the best way to visit Agra, even if it was a virtual experience.

Akash is a qualified tour guide who, in normal times, gives guided tours or Agra and beyond. As such, he is very well qualified to host a most informative and educational tour of the The Taj Mahal and other sites in Agra.

The tour started with a video which gave one a sense of the layout of The Taj Mahal and the scale of the whole complex. Four different gates lead into the inner area and Akash explained the original role of each gate. Naturally, he took me through the Royal Gate! This is an immensely ornate construction in its own right.

Then, using a series of compelling images with notations, he led me through the inner section through to the actual Taj Mahal. It was fascinating to learn that while the majority of tourists see the tombs, these are not the originals. Again, using quality imagery, Akash took me down the steps to the original tombs, a unique experience which is only open to public visitors for three days annually.

The virtual tour then continued with Akash taking me to the other sites in Agra: The Red Fort etc.

This tour really gave me a great insight into the Moghul Empire, why these architectural wonders were built and the factors that led to the eventual decline of the Moghul Empire.

In conclusion, I highly rate this virtual tour with Akash. He takes time to deal with all the questions and really helps to place the Taj Mahal in the overall context of Indian history and heritage.

Our experience with Mr Ali was the best guided tour experience I have ever had. Mr Ali was very knowledgeable about the Taj Mahal and it's history. He catered our tour very nicely with great insights on not only the history but also the architecture and perfect spots for some amazing photos clicked by Mr Ali himself. He was very fluent in English which helped the foreign nationals in our group to understand everything. He also offered to take us to Kalakriti which was another beautiful experience that gave us a deeper understanding of the art involved in the Taj and done by the locals for generations. I will recommend Mr Ali's tour to everyone who visits Taj Mahal. Keep up the good work!

Naveen was one of the best guide we had in one week trip to India. Amazing explanation and tour of Taj Mahal and Agra Fort telling us all the story, taking us amazing pictures and being super nice and easy going! We then had lunch together in a very good restaurant with Taj Mahal view! If I come back here I will contact him again for sure!
