Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing class. The family welcomed us into their home and taught us 9 separate traditional Indonesian dishes. Can’t speak highly enough about this class.

This was an awesome experience!! Our driver, Awan, picked us up at our hotel We met our chef/instructer at the market. Amazing all the vegetables and fruits! Then off to the cooking class in the country. The place was beautiful and Very Clean. We got to work chopping and preparing our food. After all the cooking we sat down to a FABULOUS MEAL!! We received a video and cookbook with the recipes. Awan then picked us up and on the way back to the hotel we stopped to try tea and coffee. We had the opportunity to try the Cat-poo-chino
Luwak coffee. A fabulous experience and reasonably priced. If you have time this is a MUST Do!!!!
On the way to and from Awan was a wealth of information. 10 Stars!

A very good experience with this team. Just the right mix of information and time to absorb. They were very well organised and we created some food that I would never have attempted on my own! Works very well as a couple and they paired up everyone.

We had a group of 17 family and friends go on this tour and it was the hughlight of our trip!

There were a few more hills than we expected but the hospitality shown by our tour guide as well as Nyoman the owner made those hills worth it!

Definitely recommend giving it a go.

We absolutely loved our evening with Putu. She taught us how to make the most amazing Balinese meals. She gave us a tour of her home and her farm which was very informative. Thank you to her and her husband and her auntie for making our evening fun and delicious.

This was so much fun! We loved being able to go to the market and see all the different things there. We were able to try fresh fruit that we can't get in the U.S. and the guide explained a lot about the local traditions. Once we got back to where we would be cooking, we were shown a family compound and were informed about how the family compounds work. We were able to cook all the dishes fairly easily and everything was delicious. We were so full that we couldn't finish it all! Great job to everyone that participated in this experience for us!!

The trip was amazing from start to finish.,our personal driver Wayan was very decent, and very patient . He took us to our cooking class , to a local market , to see the rice fields and to the monkey forest. He even took us to an additional spot to visit the poo coffee shop . This place was not included in our agenda. I can highly recommend Wayan to your next trip in Bali. Thank you very much Wayan for making our trip to ubud a memorable one .

We had an awesome trip with Ketut, who showed us around a local market away from the crowded tourist area. Ketut helped us to try so many delicious foods and made us feel confident to order them ourselves another time too! We also learned about the traditions and culture behind the different dishes. The Tuna Satay skewers CHANGED MY LIFE and I will be dreaming about them forever. Strongly reccomend this trip if you are interested in experiencing the genuine local street food scene of Bali. I only wish I had two extra stomachs so I could have eaten more!
