Although the sea was VERY rough when we were there, we still enjoyed this beach, lots of cover from the sun. SR100 parking charge if you drive.
Great surroundings and plenty of room.
Park at the hotel/restaurant right on the beach, you pay your SR100 & get free use of shower and WiFi also the money will also be used towards a meal if you so choose.

Start of at Anse Lazio, take a hike through the jungle, make sure to bring water it’s a tough trail but you can walk barefooted. When you reach the top you will find a swing, take a break and enjoy the view. Theo descend to a marvellous beach With white sand, blue water and lots of palmtrees that gives you some shade.

The most hyped mandatory walk in Praslin is this nature reserve. Its really good, no doubt. But we were very disappointed with the behaviour of the guides. They were first of all very expensive, 1000 SCR for a guide just for 1 hour 30 minutes walk around, apart from entry ticket of 450 scr per person. Plus the way the guides discouraged us when we refused their service, was of not good taste. Fortunately we we were able to spot all the birds and amphibians/reptiles whatever to be observed on our own. We were told by the guides, if you don’t take our service, you will return empty handed. Those things to should be addressed by the tourism incharge. Its personal choice of opting guide service.
The speciality of Valee de mai is the coc de mer the famous unique design coconuts and palm trees. Being in Seychelles, you can spend 2/3 hours walking around the forest.

Took a tour with Kreol Adventures (110 euros per person, 15 euro discount if renting a car from Kreol / Bliss cars). Boat was comfortable with plenty of seating and shade. Started at
9:30AM with a short 5 min ride out to snorkel at St. Pierre Island. Saw angelfish, butterfly fish, blue mackerel, and needlefish. The island itself is a picturesque outcropping of granite rocks topped with palm trees. Afterwards a 10 min boat ride to Curieuse island. The beach here was perfect for swimming with soft white sand and shallow calm turquoise waters. We swam and relaxed on the beach. Then had a bbq lunch with salad, chicken and fish. The lunch spot has 2 basic outdoor showers for a freshwater rinse. Also has the doctor's house for the former leper colony but it is currently under renovation. Afterwards we did a 1.7 km hike to the tortoises. The 45 min hike does involve some slight uphill, downhill and then boardwalks through mangroves. The tortoises were friendly and loved strokes on the neck. Returned back to Praslin at 3:30PM. Our group was 17 people (max size 24 people). Tour is on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Guide Frances was knowledgeable and friendly. Tour included entrance fee to Curieuse island, bottle of water, lunch, snorkeling mask and fins. Did not include transport to/ from the start point (Cafe de arts). Bring sunscreen, insect repellant, more water, sunglasses, hat, towel, and money for tips. Can leave personal items on the boat so you’re not hiking or on the beach with anything valuable. This excursion was the highlight of my stay in Praslin.

Amazing beach in Praslin and according to us definitely among top 3 (other 2 being Anse Georgette and Anse Lazio).

The only thing we did not like is due to very fine sand, during high tide it gets very muddy and we saw 2 stingrays right by the shore and we along with few others all got out due to poor visibility on the shallow water.

I was on a full-day boat tour that included a stop on this stunning island for a few hours, as well as snorkeling off the main beach before then. The snorkeling was very good in terms of fish, less so in terms of coral. But the beach on the other side of the island was heaven, and I had it almost to myself. One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen, and I've traveled all over the world

The islet looks very picturesque and the snorkelling around it is very good. Perhaps is best combined with Curieuse or Curieuse and Cousin.

The best and cheapest way to travel from Praslin to La Digue (and back again). The prices are a roundtrip, which makes the 30 euros a good price.
