Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We absolutely loved this day out as a family. We were glad we'd read the reviews and knew that there was a lot of driving but it was absolutely worth it. It felt like a proper adventure and a privilege to see so many amazing sights within the mainland of the country. It was one amazing surprise after another. Always a nice a/c vehicle or cold Coke to greet us whenever needed. Our guide (Aud) was brilliant and patient and informative and looked after us so well. We loved the swimming, the adventure of taking our own kayaks in to the mangrove (all in amazing crystal clear water, so much better than you'd imagine!) and then the stunning Cheow Larn Lake is way more than you'd expect. The lunch was delicious. A long day but it became one of the highlights of our whole Thai holiday, just loved it.

Had a fantastic day visiting a temple, cruising in a long boat through the mangroves, visiting James Bond island and dinner on the floating island. This experience is well organised with a knowledgeable guide named Boy. There was only 6 guests in this tour so lovely small group. Would definitely recommend you will not be disappointed. Great driver in air conditioned mini bus and helpful boat driver. Thank you to you all .

We loved our 2 hour tour at the elephant sanctuary.
Picked up on time and it was short drive to the sanctuary where we were given water and a good briefing.

We started off feeding the elephants, then walked with them in the forest. At All times our safety and the welfare of the elephants was a priority.

The highlight was washing the elephants and seeing them taking a mud bath.

The group was small and our guide was great.

    We Definitely recommend the tour.

I would suggest wearing trousers and covered shoes for walking in the forest.

Everything was as described and even better. The departing dock had great facilities including showers and breakfast. Pretty Patty was a great guide all day and had us all running on time with great insights and totally funny. The boats were super fast and in great condition, masks, flippers all good quality and staff defogging them just an example of quality service. Every stop had drinks and snacks and the lunch was delicious on the island in a awesome setting and beach. Oh the important bit, of course the coral and fish were incredible experiences with lots of fish. Floating above a whole school of Nemo,s was a huge highlight. The gypsy village was interesting and tsunami story very powerful. When you returned even more delicious food abd great photos of your day if you want them. Totally recommend this trip, we loved it

Amazing trip, super friendly staff and very fun activities. As a special comment I would like to appreciate the fact that everytime we were getting back to the boat after an activity or sighseeing our towel were folded and gently placed in our seats. A little detail that demonstrates the care of the staff. Food was very good and we were given different snacks throught the trip that made it more refreshing in such a hot day.

Bamboo rafting was peaceful and relaxing. Paddler looked after us well and a nice swim in the river. I am unsure about the elephant experience. There was no background to the elephants history provided and I am not entirely sure of their welfare. Lots of posing and it just questioned my morals. Overall a lovely relaxing day.

We choose the ATV and Lampi Waterfall tour. We we're picked up from hotel right on time taken by v friendly driver to the ATV pk, where we did ATV for an hour was great fun , our 6 year old went as a passenger with my husband. Everyone else drove their own ATV.
Track was great taking you through jungle mad some small rivers. We had x2 guides who took loads of pics and videos and then transferred them to us via watsapp afterwards.
Lampi Waterfall was a little underwhelming if honest but we did take a swim I the pool under it which was nice to cool off.

What a fantastic host wandee was extremely passionate about her cooking classes from start to finish she entertained us from the market to the table. The market was a great place to start our tour wandee explained all the ingredients we would be using even giving us time to buy our own. Off to the kitchen plenty of water and soft drinks her cooking skills were amazing teaching us our own favourite dishes then sitting with other wonnabee chefs too eat and share 10/10 fantastic experience which we can take home with us
Thank you thank you thank yo from linda & srephen

Man was an excellent guide for our snorkeling experience. We loved the low key nature of the day, from the local taxi pick up, the isolated fishing villages, and the really relaxed journey through the mangroves (where we saw monkeys) and out to the snorkeling site. Not all of our family enjoyed the snorkeling but that was more about us than the experience, and Man and his crew did everything to make it as good as it could be.
The real highlight for us was the delicious lunch prepared for us to eat next to the most incredible beach - sheer paradise.

Booked before we came to Thailand and everything arrange over messenger

Apple picked us up from our hotel (JW Marriott Khao Lak) and we went to the local market to view the local produce. We then went to Riverside kitchen which was set in lovely grounds.

The set up is really good and Apple and her team were at hand whenever we required them, we were shown how to chop, prepare and cook our selected choice.

The experience is one of the best and highly recommended as the experience is both education and fun and the food we cooked was amazing.

Once we finished Apple took us back to the hotel to drop us back. £35 each for the experience and this was money well spent.
