Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.

This was an awesome day for my family. Rides /pools to suit everyone. My two year old and 11 year old loved this water park. Pricing reasonable, clean and friendly service. Recommend hiring a cabana for the day. Great experience!

Good entertainment. Not that great for shopping. Must go for the vibe. 3 live bands playing in Cicada. We enjoyed the main live band and performance. Food here was just ok.
Cicada Market is right next to Tamarind market which has many options for great food. So overall a good area to go and chill.

I spent a few days here not having anything planned, just went to the beach and got drunk a lot and went for a swim and enjoyed being near the water. There is plenty of available space so crowds were not an issue even on weekends.

It's a nice clean beach, vast and open. You can sit by the main beach and have a drink and a meal or walk around to find some more remote parts to enjoy.

One thing that has already been pointed out in the reviews are the number of large, sharp rocks when you try to go for a swim in waters around chest height (during high tide). They will cut and shred your feet and hands as they did mine, severely impacting my mobility in the succeeding days. Otherwise, it's a nice place to spend a day or two and not too far from Bangkok.

Nice place to visit. We had a hire car so drove from Hua Hin, took about 40 minutes. Well signposted and east to find. Plenty of car parking. 200THB per adult but this can be used against purchases in the restaurant or gift shop. We had lunch, a couple of glasses of wine which were quite nice and 2 x fish and chips which weren't bad either. Very expensive but you're paying for where you are so to be expected, the setting and views are lovely. Didn't find the staff particularly friendly but nothing to really moan about. We nearly didnt visit as they have 2 retired elephants that we were confused as to whether they were still offering rides or not. After a little more reading, we were confident they weren't. You can pay 250THB per person to meet then and feed them bananas, then you can buy extra baskets of bananas when you're there. I asked the mahoott if anyone rides them and he said just him. I can only hope these 2 lovely, gentle ladies are living the best possible life they can. We couldn't really see how much space they had but I hope its sufficient and they are well cared for. I did notice a couple of pictures on TripAdvisor a few years ago of them dressed as santa, I hope this doesn't happen any more too. Overall, a nice way to spend a few hours

A self-financed foundation that takes care of elephants that are sick/injured or worn out by forestry work, or other fairground animals. A large proportion of the staff are volunteers. For the modest sum of 800 Baht, you can walk your protégé, feed him bananas and give him a shower. A must-do !!!

Nice trip to temple outside Hua Hin. The statue is impressive. Some small stalls selling flowers, and amulets scattered around.

Surprised to see that the temple grounds extend further and they are completing a larger complex with a huge Buddha statue. Worth a visit.

Especially enjoyed the evening street food and singer/band.....they sung 80s era songs really well and added to a great vibe with cheap food and beer. Phad Thai my fav. I only just now saw the tip box in a photo so if you go be sure to think about that. Mall was nice as well to occupy some time.

Good option for shopping for Local stuff. Definitely worth a visit. The Patio is a lovely small square where you can get good food options. Night market is better than Cicada market and Tamarind market for Shopping. Even better than Bluport (which is totally a useless mall). For shopping, as per me, Market Village ranks as No. 1 option and Night Market as No. 2

Tamarind Market has many good food stalls. Right next to Cicada Market so can visit both. Must visit once. Good vibe, great place to hangout.

Nice mellow beach with a wide swath of sand. Pine Tress provide shade quite close to the surf depending on tide. Not all were open in December, but this beach has services, coffee shop, masseuse (closed) and even one room cottages on the beach for rent. There are also folks cooking lunch and selling cold drinks that you can buy from. Chairs for rent....... If you are driving north or south, you can grab a long lunch on the beach when you stop here and never unpack a thing. Good spot!

We have visited the water park today. It is not big but good enough, especially for kids. Our daughter is almost 6 and there were a lot of fun for her there. There are water slides both for kids and adults. You can take the life jacket if you cannot swim and put on a helmet when on water slides.
I also liked the artificial wave, it is switched on every 20 minutes.
It is absolutely not crowded, there are no queues.
The food is also good. French fries and chicken nuggets, Fried rice with shrimps and Phad Thai tasted all good.

My recommendation is to visit when in Hua Hin with kids.

Google maps took me all round the houses & through the fish market, past lots of monkeys & Soi dogs & then up a very steep road.
It was nice at the top, but I was very wary of all the monkeys. They however weren’t as scary as a couple of the Soi dogs who barked at me non stop & followed me back down the hill. Nice views from the top.
