Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stopped here on our way from Bangkok to Hua Hin. I highly recommend! It was a very unique experience. Only 10 THB for the entrance fee.

Stunning old palace enclave in the mountain on the way to Hua Hin. Need to take the tram or walk up, the floor is slippery so make sure to wear proper shoes. Aside from the palace there are temples and shrine and tons of monkeys!

Phetchaburi is renown for its stucco work and the buildings at Wat Mahathat Worawihan have many splendid works on the outside. Don’t just go see the 5 prang stupa- LOOK at the buildings.

I discovered this place by accident, on the way to Khao Wang, what a beautiful temple, simply stunning...and no tourists in sight, it was just me, what a nice experience!

If you hotel/guesthouse has bikes this is a easy ride to the police base where the summer house is located. I did need to give my passport, for which I got a badge to wear on the site, and then got passport back when I left. The house well maintained though not much era period furniture. Lonely Planet mentioned it closed at 4:30 (16:30) but I was told by staff at the house to leave at 4:00pm and you have to exit grounds by 4:30 (16:30). Don’t miss the large ceramic angels on the playing accordians on the double staircase bannister. Horrendous - but fashionable the time!

We got incredibly lucky during our visit. We saw three different troops of gibbons, many Great Hornbills, five different troops of Dusky Tree Monkeys. The park is huge so you can easily spend a whole day there.

This temple is in the city center and mainly visited by locals. The main temple has an impressive five Buddha statue in gold and the walls have old murals on them.

No glittery glass tiles decorating the roofline here, just plain and elegant wood. A unique temple complex, less ostentatious than the current trends. Beautiful, though mostly degraded, murals in the main vihara. When I was there scaffolding was up on 2 walls - perhaps a sign that they will be conserving the murals???

Phetchaburi is an under-rated destination in terms of temple architecture. Considering its proximity to Bangkok, you'd expect it to be crawling with cultural tourists but its fine collection of wats are worth your time.

This complex boasts elegant wooden architecture and a jaw-dropping set of golden murals. It has a quiet village atmosphere.

The photos I saw made it look like the 5 ancient temples were in a big field but in fact they are embedded in a very large (1 square ‘block’) Buddhist temple complex. The complex has one entrance open from 5:30 to 18:30. Decent signage providing some background on the history of the site.

On April 13 My family and I went to Chad Chao Samran. which is a tourist destination that my family and I go to every year This place is a windy sea, but it's hot as well. But no matter how hot the sun is, this place has a lot of tourists, especially foreigners.
