It was definitely a "family favorite park" as there were many families, friends, even a wedding party when we visited.
We didn't have a guide but you can read about the history of these rocks online before you go so that you can point some things out to the kids - if they stop climbing for a second!

Guray Museum Avanos

The museum is located underground (that is why it gets quite cool inside, make sure to have light cardigans or long sleeved clothes for children), it has halls for antique ceramics, modern ceramics and a workshop...
My three kids loved turning the kick wheel at the Guray Museum and learning about pottery. it was an amazing experience.

Really impressive all rock formations, very well organized tours, it's highly recommend for families anytime just watch out for rainy days.
Many caves and a wonderland for children to explore underground caves and tunnels that reach four stories below the surface.

We saw families with small children as well as wanderlusting 20/30-somethings all enjoying themselves... it's a great destination for anyone!
We found these paths suitable for young children so long as you hold hands.
