We had an excellent tour of Hida with lots of informative explanations about life there.
Despite it pouring with rain (thanks to a visiting typhoon) we had a great tour with Yohei as our guide who was excellent.

Shinji was an excellent Bike tour guide, his knowledge of Takayama and Japanese history is excellent and his command of English and communication skills are also excellent.
He is very thoughtful in customizing the tour to your interests and takes the time to share his life stories and about the Japanese culture.

Both tours were brilliant, our guides were friendly, knowledgeable and really personable and their English was fantastic.
There was a long queue at the terminal but thankfully once I got in one of the staff members opened up a new counter just for the Snowshoeing tour at the appointed ticket collection time of 8.30am.

We took some incredible tours on our visit to Japan, but the one with Satoyama and Yohei ranks at the top on any dimension: fun, informative, unexpectedly wonderful.
Satoyama cycling tours are a great way to see the beautiful Japanese countryside and learn a bit about the daily life of its friendly residents.

We highly recommend the Takayama city bike tour to anyone looking for a cool and easy way to explore the city and its surroundings.
The tour takes you through rice paddies, around the local town areas, and stops frequently - one particular highlight was having a fresh drink from a mountain spring!

Because Mr Yamamoto leads tours to Shirakawago twice a day, he's made friends with the security team and has the bus parking lot closest to the suspension bridge which leads to the village.
Fantastic afternoon tour!

After the tour at the Nohi bus station in Takayama, she assisted each and everyone in getting back to their trip back home or places to visit around Takayama.
Entry to the Folk Open Air Museum was included and the guide gave us a guided tour of the traditional Gassho house before leaving us to explore the site.

We enjoy the tours very much and appreciate their help a lot!! Will definitely join J-Hop private tours again in the future.
First, I appreciate the Shirakawa-go tour with Bonnie as our guide - a very engaging, informative and fun tour on our way to the village.

From the castle ruins, to the beautiful temples, to the amazing sake tasting, to the description of the April festival, Shingo led an incredibly informative and fun tour.
