Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

If u love shopping don miss this place! it's at Kawasaki station. Lots to shop, eat & see. It's always crowded at ground floor area but as u shop, lesser crowd as huge mall very spacious & relax to walk around. If u are first timer, could easily spend half a day shop & dine. Glad to come on Sat, happen that there's performance at open area, very vibrant place with energy! Glad to see some leaves turning colours for autumn ...

If u wish to explore outside Tokyo city area but too far, this is definitely one of the place!

Really interesting, with friendly staff and English translations. Great place to visit to learn a bit more about Japan’s history! Allow 1-2 hours as it is a big site.

I had a few hours to kill before heading to the airport so I hopped on a train and headed to Kawasaki to visit the Daishi Heiken Temple. This temple complex is big and well worth at least an hour of your time. I enjoyed the street and shops leading up to the temple. After browsing a few shops, I entered the temple complex and viewed the pagoda. It wasn't busy during the week. Overall, beautiful temple, easy to get to, and worth a quick stop.

Yes, Tokyo Bay Aqua Line is both a bridge-tunnel that channels across the Tokyo Bay connecting the Kanazawa Prefecture with the Chiba Prefecture. At the intersection of the bridge-tunnel, Umihotaru which is an artificial area is the tourist attraction. You will go up many levels of escalators (each floor has restaurant and plenty of souvenir shops) up to the top level (5th floor). The scenic observation deck is what we came to see. Awesome to see the sea of Japan!

Very happy to discover such a nice place for a walk/jog. The park is very big and there is a museum, cafe/restaurant, old houses. Loved by local people to enjoy the nature in the busy city.

A small museum which collects and exhibits the work of Taro Okamoto. If you've art and/or like the work of Taro Okamoto, then you need to visit this small museum. There are original sketches, sculptures, and paintings and displays about his life and his artistic process. There's a marvelous little garden (oasis) there as well as you enter. We loved it and will return when we are in the area.

I randomly stumbled upon this quaint little zoo on the top of a hill in the middle of Kawasaki, and was surprised at the amount of animals it has. The park it's in offers a great 360 view of Kawasaki, as well, which I can't wait to photograph the next time I go.

This was such a lovely and beautiful Shri e. Get there as early as you can. I recommend walking as far as you can up the hill. I was not able to go very far but chose to wander around d a neighboring oath near the Holy Rice Paddy. It was completely deserted and peaceful. My friends did the whole thing. It took a while.

Thete are street food vendors on the trail up to the Shrine, you can pass some time there.

Very cool and the location is good. The museum has an old style bus and a train forward part. Contains some equipment used long time ago. Located under the Denentoshi line. Easy to get to it.
