This is a great little centre where you can get very close to the proboscis monkeys and see them interact with each other as a family group.

We traveled as a family with two little children (5 & 3) and spent the whole day here (was easy for us to do since we stayed at Sepilok Nature Resort closeby).
The centre has an air conditioned auditorium so you can sit for as long as you like to watch the kindergarten kids!

When visitors approaching the shallow water to the village by boats; children and women of the village will peddle in their sampan (small wooden boat) coming toward the visitors and beg for food.
I highly recommend NOT to give them any sweets as it causes cavities in the children.

There are picnic spots in the beginning which would be perfect for a romantic/family/group picnic, and easy for transporting your shared meal .
At night time you do get a lot of insects attracted to the lights, but for myself and kids this was great as we got to see more wildlife up close.
