The massage was fantastic! The place is on the 2nd floor and we almost missed the shop. It is a quiet and cosy place. The two Japanese masseuse were very professional. They were gentle and it really helped relax mywhole body after a week's stay in Sapporo and my feet was tired after all the walking touring Hokkaido. They are friendly, professional and were able to communicate with us in English. When I told my masseuse which area I wanted her to focus on, she could do it with such gentleness and I felt good and relaxed after that. Would recommend this place and would come back again!

This place was a bit of a new experience for me. I've been to hot springs resorts / public baths before but this was different in a number of ways. It's probably easiest to explain the place by recounting my own visit:

First, when we arrived, we put your street shoes into small lockers and then gave the keys to the person at the front counter. In exchange, they gave each person a locker key that is worn on the wrist. That key can also be used to make purchases during your visit (more on that later). If you need towels, you get those at the counter as well.

Then we proceeded to the locker room, disrobed, and moved on to the cleaning room with stools, wash basins, shower nozzles, etc. After getting clean, it was off to the public hot water / baths for a nice soaking.

Then we went back to the lockers and put on the provided loose shorts and robe tops. From there it was back to the public area where we met our spouses and stopped in the dining area for light snacks. Purchases here are "charged" to the wristbands with your locker keys and settled-up before you depart.

Then it was off to the sauna rooms. They have rooms with different temperatures and we basically spread out a towel on the floor and reclined in the heat. I spent some time with our group in the first room and it was very relaxing but I also knew that I probably couldn't handle the hotter rooms so...

I spent time in a large public space on comfortable recliners. There was a TV on one wall and lots and lots of reading / browsing material on shelves around the perimeter of the room. I believe that I actually fell asleep for a while until I was woken by my wife.

Then it was back to the locker room to change back into street clothing and on to the front desk to exchange the borrowed towels, shorts / robe tops, and wristbands for the keys to the lockers with our shoes (this is also where / when we settled-up for the food / beverages from the dining area).

I have to say that I really enjoyed my visit and I'm grateful to our (local) hosts that brought us here. It's the kind of place that I (as a gaijin) would never have found / figured-out on my own. Very good indeed!

Wonderfully relaxing massage. I often go for high pressure deep tissue massage, this massage was slow and methodical. My overall tiredness and body feeling afterwards led me to understand not only how good the massage was but her anatomical knowledge.

Certainly! Your experience can be translated into English as follows: "I took a massage to soothe the weariness from my travels. The therapist used to be a ski athlete, it seems. Japanese massage therapists have incredible skills. He only speaks Japanese, but we were able to communicate using a translation app." This translation keeps the original sentiment and information intact while providing a clear message about your experience. If you need a more detailed translation or have specific terms you want to be included, please let me know!

The staff and treatment were amazing! The only problem that I had was that the staff English was not very strong, so it was difficult to hold a conversation. But the staff were still very nice, and attempted to speak as much as English as they could. I enjoyed my time there greatly, and would be happy to go again. ありがとうございました!
Japanese trip advisor does not like English, so I will google translate everything above into Japanese!
