This opera house as a real magnificent colonial architectural style is a must see in Manaus, i did not visit inside and i am not sure if it was possible but the Facade of this huge art was an amazing art with a great dome which faces to a nice square.

An amazing natural phenomenon which is not found anywhere else. Two huge rivers coming together to form the Amazon.

Interesting introduction to the jungle! They mandate sneakers, so don’t wear hiking sandals as they will make you rent rubber boots. I wore closed toe sandals with small side openings and I had to change. I also recommend wearing a hat if you are climbing the tour, so you don’t get sand in your hair as people walk above you. Overall, it was a nice experience. Be prepared for hot & humid temperatures!

The beach is really large and has lots of small kiosk-cafes all around. Seems popular with locals, safe and rather clean.

This is a huge 4 level shopping center with a food court and an interior forest area where you can sit and relax or eat your meal.

It’s a great place to understand to understand the most important period of Manaus. But the place needs some maintenance to receive the tourists.

This is one of the most interesting places to visit in Manaus. You will find many species of wild flora and fauna of Amazon Rainforest. Personally, I don't like the spiders or snakes, I prefer to watch the big trees and native plants of region.

I’m not a big zoo fan. I always feel sorry for the animals in captivity, regardless of the habitat provided them. Here we saw jaguars, monkeys parrots and a toucan all in small enclosed spaces. The spaces were clean, just not much room, especially for the big cats. We also saw an anaconda- but I couldn’t bring myself to feel sorry for it.
The zoo is right at the edge of the Amazon Rain Forest. Seeing how very dense it is made us wonder how anyone could chop through it.
    Very interesting.

San Sebastián Square is a must see, with its beautifully crafted monument commemorating the opening of the Amazon River to foreign trade in 1866. THen there is Teatro Amazonas, the Opera House, inaugurated on December 31, 1896, with the first performance occurring on January 7, 1897. It has has 700 seats and was constructed with bricks brought from Europe, French glass and Italian marble. Beautiful..

I really liked visiting here. It's like a cross between a university and a zoo. The entry is cheap and you need a few hours to see everything.
There is a lot of animals you can see and interesting exhibits. Turtles, caimans, otters and manatees as well as a turtle breeding program. The staff are friendly and helpful too.

This beautiful opera house is a tribute to the wealth and opulence that was once the norm for Manaus during the "Rubber Baron" glory days. This is a must see if you ever make it to Manaus, Brasil.

I visited the park as part of the Encontra das Aguas package from Manaus.
In the couple of hours that I stayed I was well impressed by the rainforest, especially by some of the very large trees that can be seen. I would recommend that if you are in a large group of people, wait for them to go to lunch and stay behind. I did this and found myself on my own for a good half hour and was able to hear the amazing sounds of the jungle and could see some monkeys and interesting birds. I guess it is better when there aren't too many people around making noise and snapping selfies like there's no tomorrow.
Also be aware that this is not a zoo, so animals such as monkeys may or may not be seen as they are usually high in the tree canopy. To me this is a positive side of the place.

Great stadium which fills with exotic moths. Only downside is the screens are tiny and the score or time is not displayed anywhere.
