Coupled with easy access to the USA, it has a wonderful mix of local kids playing, dive & snorkel boats out on the reef... dolphins often swimming freely + sea turtles... it is for me pure magic!
The rest of the mainline areas are fine if you want it, but my wife and I couldn't wait to get away from it all... People, kids, noise, music, etc... Make sure you stay at the Blue Bahia Resort!

what a great way to spend a day with our children, ages 6 and 8 - we took a walk to see the animals, the ruins, enjoyed a lunch provided on the island, as well as swimming and snorkelling
The staff was amazingly friendly and our island bbq was delicious, even the picky kids loved it!

Amazing beach, the place, the music, the people (almost everyone) is the perfect place for a family trip, a friends trip or a honey moon.
We hung out nearby in the water with our drinks and watched our kids have fun while we chatted and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings - truly a paradise!
