Enjoyed the hour long tour with lots of information about the amazing work the charity does. Definitely recommend if you are an animal lover as your entry fee goes towards supporting the charity.

It’s a long beach, the hotel’s and resorts keep the beach clean during the high season, so it’s great to walk along - a little sand between your toes will ease your woes’ - plenty of bars, restaurants, massage places and ‘broccoli’ bars available the whole length, the sea is warm and stays fairly shallow for a fair way out, so great for families. Also the best place to see an amazing sunset.

A historically important trading point on the old maritime route to china

Now mostly taken over by tourism with shops and restaurants filling 95 percent of the buildings

Worth a stop when touring the island

So decided to stay here to get away from the tourist scene the resort chosen koh pu villa staff fantastic but that’s about all the people are friendly but unfortunately it’s so busy with tourists it’s not what I expected. Definitely worth a visit but maybe for a few nights not a long vacation

The beaches are stunning, especially Kantiang Bay, with its soft sands and clear waters. The local food is fantastic—definitely try the fresh seafood! Snorkeling nearby is a must; the marine life is amazing. Overall, it’s a laid-back paradise that’s perfect for unwinding. Highly recommend it!

We went from Pimalai Resort with a private speedboat with Opal Tours to Ko Rok for a half-day tour – a great experience: the beaches are marvelous. We were lucky and were alone there except for a sailing boat whose crew we did not see. In addition, we went snorkelling at two different sites, with blue starfish as a highlight. The trip from Pimalai took about 40 minutes. The outward journey was very nice, the return journey quite rough due to a sudden storm. All in all: definitely recommended!

Klong Dao Beach is absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed lovely walks, and in the evenings, we strolled along the beach to various cozy restaurants. It was simply fantastic.

It is a beautiful beach. Long, must be a good 1km, lovely soft sand, immaculately looked after.
I would say this is one of the best beaches I have ever been to. Just seems very natural and unspoilt. It is a quiet beach, but there are bars and places to eat dotted around.

If you are in this area, it is a must if you are a beach lover.

The sea is also lot warm at the moment (November).

Basically a great beach! With the fact, Klong Nin beach doesn't have mountains of hotel and other accommodation means the beach is never over crowded. During the morning, it is odd people going for a walk along the shore line. Noon to mid afternoon the beach can be almost empty due to the heat and humidity. At about 3ish, people start to appear to grab some sun before it goes down. Great sunsets if you want to sit on the sand or in a bar. There are plenty of restaurants and bar to sit and enjoy the sunset.
The sand is good but not the very fine sand you see on Caribbean beaches. There are large rocks in the sea. If the tide is in, then you simply swim over them. If the tide is fully out, then you can navigate through them. If it is inbetween, then it get a bit tricky!
The sea is very warm and great for swimming in.

    Amazing beach!
Great hike in the jungle, but quite rough on one end (depending from where you start) due to no proper stairs, as the clay is very slippery.
We did not see many animals neither.

GORGEOUS BEACH but the Monkeys are vicious!!!! BEWARE

I was watching a few monkeys trying to get into someone’s backpack, there was a group so they managed to shoo them away. Then within seconds the monkeys, 5 or 6 were circling me, I walked back wards as they circled even closer, I then had to swing my bag to deter them and they started to hiss and bear their teeth… It was scary as hell.

Luckily, some guys on the beach ran to my aid raising arms and shouting at the monkeys and they dispersed and I ran away!

I am still not sure what I would have done without the help of these kind strangers…

    BEWARE!!

A must do if you're in to this kind of adventure. Hard to find, not signed well but Google Maps gets you close. Guide is nice but does not speak English. 300 Baht per person, bring cash. Half hour hike uphill through jungle to the entrance then about an hour tour inside the cave system. It's hot and humid even in the cave so bring a generous amount of water. Headlamps provided by guide. Also prepare to get muddy walking through water at times and the exit at the end is basically crawling through a puddle. But it's worth it!!! The incredible bat room at the end is amazing.
