Another beautiful beach. Not overcrowded and built.
    White sand and turquoise water.
    Highly recommended.

    Beautiful beach, clear water.
This beach is a bit far but that makes it quiet, better than haad rin beach.

I stayed in Koh Phangan & Haad Salad was one of my favorite beaches on the island. It's quiet & clean with really clear waters. Also, a great place for kayaking.

Also known as Greg's beach, this beach is a little gem. It is quite small but it is sandy and the water is crystal clear. If you head to the south of the beach there are no rocks or sea cucumbers to worry about (at least at the time of writing). It is perfect for sunset and has two excellent bars/restaurants for food and 100 baht happy hour cocktails.

This has to be one of my favourite beaches on the island. Good for swimming, standup paddle boarding and snorkelling.

I've been to the top Muay Thai camps in Thailand and this place is exceptional. Superb teaching quality, but also flexible to accommodate beginners. A first class gym all round. When there are stadium fights you can join the teachers and other students and experience seeing pros really go at it. Easy choice.

We stayed at the coast hotels had a great view of the sea and sunsets. The beach isn’t deep nor are the waves heavy. Plenty of restaurants and bars to take care of your needs.

It's a small traditionnal fisherman village. It's quiet but it has anything you want to spend a great time: delicious thai restaurants, markets, 7-eleven, beautiful beaches... My favorite place when I stay in Koh Phangan.

Iyengar has completely changed my life. I came to this class with a torn back and many body issues. The instructors lovingly guided me to learn how to use my body properly and continuously provide the exact support I need to fix and prevent injuries. Since coming to this highly engaging and fun class, I have become extremely more capable and functional with my body. My athletic performance has increased. I’ve lost weight. I’m happier and my posture is naturally better ALL THE TIME. This. stuff.works. I recommend trying it out at least 5-6 times in order to truly start to get it.

Scenery-wise this is a stunningly beautiful beach with a narrow sandspit leading to a small island. There are a couple of hotels - I saw one upmarket one when we arrived at the sandspit, but we parked and walked through an older style bungalow (Mae Haad Bungalows) one to get to the beach. It's a fairly long walk along the white sand beach but the view makes it worthwhile even on a hot day. We swam before we got to the sandspit and there are a lot of rocks that you needed to get past to get to a good swimming spot. But the water is so clean and refreshing.
Definitely worth the trip for the scenery (4.5 stars) and OK for a swim (3.5 stars)
There are places to eat, drink shacks and massages cabanas right next to the beach.

Very nice beach. It's a very difficult walk from Haad Rin. Wear good shoes. Use mosquito repellent and have 2 litters of water. Walk in groups of 2-3 people. It takes more than 2 hours. Watch for weather change. No stable Wi-Fi or mobile connection. Maps me app is good for trail display.

Drink are cheap and they have happy hour big cocktail 100baht. The slides are fun and a few guys got the ball in the net on that day. If you don't want to do the big slide and only use the pool and the black slide it's only 350 baht. Would come here again. Music was brilliant.

Koh Ma is a beautiful beach at the north-western tip of Koh Phangan. It's actually a small island connected to Phangan by a small sand bar about 200 meters long.
They offer snorkeling there, but we didn't find anything worth snorkelling for.
There are a couple of resorts there to stay overnight. We didn't stay there, so we can't comment on them.
There are day-trips in Phangan for 500 baht (about $16) and they all stop at Koh Ma for 1-2 hours,
