A wide, deep beach, rocky at low tide.

    Great for snorkelling, swimming, sunbathing.

Try to go at high tide, at low tide there's lots of rocks/coral to walk over to get to swimmable water.

The island itself is beautiful but we were very disappointed that we saw so much rubbish on parts of this tiny island. You pay 250 bhat to go onto the island, and they take your plastic water bottles away but on the sand there is still plastic, rope and some glass, and they give you straws at the restaurant.
We felt that with the fee, they could have people picking up the litter to keep this place beautiful.
    Good snorkling.

View was amazing and definitely worth the trek, but even at 10:30am and how short the hike was (10-15 minutes) I must have lost 5 lbs from sweating. Be prepared with sneakers or at least more study sandals with straps as you will be climbing rocks with ropes to guide you up. There was a small fee $25 or 50 bh per person to go to the viewpoint and beach.

We walked from the pier along the coastal path which cost 100THB pp to enter as it goes through several private resorts (some no longer open) to Sai Nuan 2 and enjoyed gifs snorkelling and had lunch before continuing on to Chalok Baan Kao. The snorkelling was good particularly in front and to the right looking at the sea of the Banana Rock restaurant & bar. This beach can be accessed by road. If you are walking the snorkelling at the first beach you get to “Jansom Bay” was also good. The coastal path (starts at Charm Churee Villas) is defined although not really well sign posted.
From Sai Nuan 2 follow the road and then path to Chalok Baan Kao. Turn off the road onto the driveway to the right at Char Bungalows and follow the path (& random red arrows).

For 200 Bht you find a peaceful little beach which is good for relaxing, eating and snorkelling, or even diving. A wreck ist near and a scuba diving Resort offers its device. It is much quieter than most other beaches, few visitors come here. We went there twice because we found it best.

No real coral, it's all broken from storms, however if you swim out to where the boats are there are the biggest turtles we've ever seen in 30 years of diving

Accessible by moped or on foot if you are staying close by. Lovely beach bar. Snorkel with the sharks and laze on the perfect beach. We stayed at Jamahkiri Resort and walked over the hill to the beach.

The most beautiful beach with a fantastic opportunity to enjoy coral reef. I recommend this place and Koh Tao for sure.

Smells like sewage and plenty of garbage in and around the water. The diving boats drop liters upon liters of oil into the water everyday so you are swimming in that as well. The restaurants and bars along the beach are pretty low quality catering to drunk teenagers. Overall, it's your typical Thai beach. Don't go with high expectations.

First time to real muay thai, we usually watch UFC and wanted to see what a real muay thai fight was like. We watched 7 fights including younger fighters and a womans bout. All the fighters were respectful and very talented - highly recommend checking it out.

Came here as i followed my GPS for a nice beach. You have to pay for the entrance but u also got a free soft drink. The beach was beautiful and not crowded. You can lay on the sand or find some beachchair. If hungry still have one restaurant over there. It was nice and good taste. Its up on the hill so u can see around too.
