Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I enjoy strolling through old cemeteries for the beauty and tranquility. This one is no exception. There are Soldiers from the American Revolution on buried here, to include a selection of Civil War unknown Soldiers.

WOW! This is a must see when in Huntsville. We were told about this Memorial by one of the soldiers depicted in one of the several statues located at the Memorial. I got to experience this with my brother-in-law who served in Vietnam, and that will be a long treasured memory. This Memorial covers all the wars that America has been involved in. I was humbled and inspired by the beauty and reverence of this place. Thank you to all veterans.

Amazing little shop inside Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment Center- I had seen a postcard at the visitor center about a cigar box guitar fesitval and so when I walked into the mill and saw a shop selling cigar box guitars I had to stop in! So glad I did! The owner of the shop was there and most helpful! He gave me great information, a little demonstration, and lots of background on the shop (only brick and mortar cigar box guitar shop in the world!) and how he ended up there.... truly a gem of a find! I walked out with a make my own cigar box guitar kit and am convinced (because of him) that I will be able to play! They offer free lessons, lots of encouragement, and an overall great experience! You have to stop in if going to Huntsville!

We've docked at Ditto Landing Marina several times while cruising that part of the Tennessee River, and every time has been a wonderful experience for us.

The people who work at the marina have been, to a person, great to work with. They're always ready with a warm welcome and are happy to help boaters land and set up at the docks.

The marina has a somewhat narrow entrance and the currents can be a little tricky, so be ready for that. While it may not matter for your vessel, I still recommend that you approach the entrance from downstream so you're using your power against the current instead of being pushed past the entrance.

The grounds around the marina and then along the river's banks provide ample room for walking and biking. We have Segways and enjoyed exploring the area.

If there is one thing that we really miss at Ditto Landing, it is a restaurant. We truly enjoy eating at restaurants that are either on or near marinas, but if you don't have an automobile, you're out of luck in that department when you're at Ditto.

An excellent variety of shows from classic to contemporary, from talented and convincing players -- and backed by very good musicians. I've attended several and never been disappointed, Affordable theater without sacrificing the believability of the characters or the excellence of the music. Well-paced and polished productions that remain authentic in their adaptions and true to the original works. An easy to get to, comfortable venue. Don't travel to some far-away area to enjoy good theater, let the theater travel to your own area.

This beautiful fountain is a part of the Big Springs Park of Huntsville, Alabama. It is also known as the Big Spring Park Fountain. It is located near The Von Braun Center and Hilton. It was donated in 2005 by the Thrasher family to honour their father Tom
Thrasher, who was a business and civic pioneer. There is a pedestal, next to the fountain, with Thrasher’s bust and accomplishments etched on it. The family donated $284,000. This fountain is computerised and sprouts a tall tower of water for 10 minutes every hour.It is a very relaxing and serene corner of the park with benches and stylish landscaping. On Saint Patrick’s Day each year the fountain and it’s basin are filled with green dye. Every night coloured lights dance over the water here. It is a very unique fountain.
