My entire family loved the airboat ride with Captain Geoff!! My three and ten year old girls LOVED it, my husband was in his element, and my 60 year old parents really enjoyed it!
Brittany and Geoff were awesome and really accommodated our need for both speed and family pictures.

With all the rain up river and high winds that day the wildlife we saw was limited, but we had a great time thanks to Captain Chris - this guy knows his stuff, is so funny and fantastic with curious kids.
Relaxing fun cool summer evening tour (in July!) Family friendly.

Five Rivers has it all, from hiking paths to interactive areas for the kids ( and grownups too ), this area is a gem for hands on education about the Delta area.
I hope to return in the winter to hike the trails and to take a boat trip, and I already subscribe to their e-mail newsletter that explains all the family-friendly events they hold.

Although Alabama is a little hot in the summer, my family loves visiting Blakeley State Park in the Spring, Winter and Fall.
This is just an awesome place to go for family fun.

There are alligators in the bay so keep little children and animals on a close leash.
There are gators up near the waterfront spots so watch your pets and small kids.
