Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We booked at the very last minute but Fred was ready bright and early to drive us to Tigre. He was an absolutely wonderful guide, with perfect English, lots of knowledge about history and landmarks plus great stories and tips about how things work in Argentina. It was raining, so it was a little hard to see on the 1 hour boat tour, but we still really enjoyed it - especially the replica of the former president's house encased in glass. Afterwards, at our request Fred took us to Tigre stadium so we could buy some jerseys & we were lucky enough to get in to see the pitch! Then to San Isidro to see the gothic church and cute square. Recommend - if you can get Fred!

Prior to the tour the organizers were generous with reminders, scheduling and logistics, which was very helpful considering the border crossing. Our driver, Nora, arrived at 6:45 AM as promised and was waiting on us when we arrived back in the afternoon. We arrived at the ferry terminal quickly and were through passport control in just minutes - which meant we then waited for over an hour for the 8:30 ferry departure. Upon arrival in Colonia, the guide told us to wait another 20-30 minutes for the tour to start. There were 15-20 people on the tour but only two English speakers, so the guide conducted the tour in Spanish with some English tacked-on at the end. I speak enough Spanish to know that she wasn't giving a full translation. This quickly got frustrating so we abandoned the tour to explore Colonia on our own and found a nice waterfront restaurant for lunch. Luckily we'd gotten the sightseeing map from the helpful tourist desk in the ferry terminal while we waited on the tour. It's a beautiful little town that can easily be explored in a few hours. I didn't get the tour promised, but I still enjoyed my time in Colonia.

Great tour. It covered all highlights plus we had walking time with several stops. It was informative yet not too much to give a first impression of the city. Will do more deep dives later in the next trip.

Mariano was our guide for the day, he made us feel comfortable and gave us an informative commentary on all the sights. We have never done a private tour before but I’d highly recommend it. What a great experience and the best way to view the city sights of Buenos Aires. The boat trip in Tigre was definitely a great way to end our day .

I had a tour with Carlos as a guide, his English was very understandable and the guy had so much knowledge about the city. I learned a lot, and mainly laughed a lot, the guide was pretty funny!

I recommend 100% this activity to discover Palermo and Recoleta with peace of mind, I felt very secure, taken care of, and all my questions were answered. My favourite part was the maté and the whole ritual around it, it helped me understand a lot about the argentinians and their way of life. Don't miss out! I'll go for the other tours if I can, they are very flexible with the reservation last minute, helped a lot.

It was an excellent city tour. It was the best way to see the city on a short stay. The rain and lightning didn't stop us from seeing all the attractive locations.

For the price, this was a very good tour. We only scratched the surface of Buenos Aires, but we knew that going into it. Most of the narrative was in Spanish, and it felt like the English translation was consistently abridged. But we did get to see the major highlights and get oriented to the city. This allowed us to go on a more comprehensive tour the next day.

One bit of feedback--it would be great to include Palermo hotels as pick-up locations, as we had to start this tour 30 minutes earlier in order to get to the hotel in Recoleta that was listed as a pick-up point. Also, I would drop the soccer stadium from the itinerary since we could only stand out front. And perhaps add a walk on the Calatrava bridge instead.

We were picked up promptly at our hotel. Mariano had messaged me from the time of our booking and told me to the minute when to expect him.
He was courteous and very knowledgeable. Great driver and took us to a fantastic restaurant. Great Argentne food and very reasonable.

What a great tour. Our guide Stella was informative clear and always happy to answer questions. The stop offs were just long enough to get a feel of the areas. Looking forward to exploring more in our stay after this great intro

The company arranged a private tour of Buenos Aires for our group which was top-notch. Afterwards They picked us up and took us to the cruise ship doc. When we returned from our cruise to Buenos Aires they took us to a Gaucho ranch which was wonderful. This company is definitely top-notch I would highly recommend them

What an amazing day, we saw the main sights of the city and the commentary/historic background provided by Marina was exactly what we needed to understand both the sights and the people. We had lunch in the market, a perfectly cooked steak, it was delicious and very reasonably priced :o). There was plenty of time to explore the various sites. The air conditioned car was in very good condition and the driver, Roberto, knew the city like the back of his hand. At the end of each walk Marina would call Roberto and he would be there with the car almost instantly. Very well organised. My wife and I would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone needing to discover the ciry in a day.
