Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I attended the Luces, la revolución show with a group of 9 students and one other adult. I was the only fluent Spanish speaker, though most of the others know some degree of the language. I chose it because of its uniqueness, and I figured that 50 minutes was short enough if they had a hard time understanding. I feel they spoke slowly and enunciated well, and most of my students were able to follow the gist. The performance itself was stellar, though I didn't think to tell the students to close their eyes. It is PITCH BLACK DARK, so there's no way your eyes will ever focus. As a result, several nearly had panic attacks and ended up in existential ponderings about what is real and what is a construct. Closing my eyes, though, led to a wonderful experience.

Agustin, our host for the polo experience on 26th Feb, was extremely friendly, polite and amicable. After driving for almost 2 hrs, we arrived at our destination and were immediately provided with the most delicious empanadas and wine. More wine was drunk whilst watching a very good amateur polo match with Agustin (himself a polo player) explaining the rules of the game - fascinating stuff!! We then had the opportunity of playing polo ourselves on retired ponies (but they were still very nimble) before feasting on an excellent Asado. Agustin, his team of polo players and his Asado cooks did an excellent job in providing this once of a lifetime experience for this city girl! I really enjoyed it (despite being really bad at playing polo as well as riding a pony). Nevertheless I would do it again in a heartbeat!

This was a lot of fun! If you're considering doing it, you should! We had very little previous experience riding horses and less experience with the rules of polo. We quickly were taught how to ride and the rules of polo. While we were beginners, our tour did have a more experienced player. We all had a great time!

It was an amazing experience. The pilot was really kind and I would return there! Even with the gray sky, was beautiful!

My wife and three boys thoroughly enjoyed our horseback ride. Our guide was Agustina - she is a wonderful guide and so easy to get along with. Her pointers were just what we needed!

Our three boys galloped on their horses through the country side tour and had the time of their lives. It was a major highlight to our trip.

We hope to be back soon!

Brilliant experience! The whole process from booking to the flight itself was extremely efficient and straightforward. Our pilot, Maxi, was superb - really professional and very friendly. His close control of the helicopter was extremely impressive! A fantastic experience which we would highly recommend!

We traveled over to Colonia from Buenos Aires, Argentina and did David’s full day package of Horseriding and walking tour of the city. We had a blustery day with a very high tide so the beach was very narrow but we still had an excellent ride and a ton of fun. David’s string of horses are great and well cared for. The town is clean, historically important and interesting. We highly recommend this trip to everyone!!!!!
The only thing I would recommend is that you spend the night in Colonia so as to have plenty of time to check out the town. Doing the trip as an over on the ferry and back in one day is a rather long day.

What a fantastic experience. My husband and I were in Buenos Aires for a month and wanted to try polo. I have a lot of experience horseback riding (dressage, eventing, show jumping), however had never played polo, and my husband had never been on a horse. Sabrina adjusted to our experience perfectly. She was not only very communicative and organized the pick up and drop off (our driver was a sweetheart), but the lesson itself was so so well done. We had an intro to how to swing the club, then she showed me how to ride a polo pony (VERY different than what I have ever done) and then worked with Neven. Then we played a bit of polo and had a mini-match. Super super fun. I highly recommend Polo in Buenos Aires.
