Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Matheus LacerdaCampinas, SP84 contributionsAmazing place, great hikes, world wonder views. Best experienced from both sides, Brazilian and Argentinian. - Ann BIsle of Man, UK3 contributionsPart 2. An early start, with a guide, is essential to make the most of this tour, and that was just what SIDNEI was. A Perfect guide, who picked us up at 0730, who offered whatever flexibility we wanted in addition to his insight into the park. Opting for the riverboat trip (dry boat) we weren't disappointed...and only a tad damp...there were only 4 of us in the boat, and we did everything but get soaked under the waterfalls! He constantly referred to photos re past experiences within the park. Sidnei also handled all the paperwork re the border crossing into Brazil. A full day for us and him..and all this on his wife's birthday, which he was off home to celebrate!!
Reviews and photos don't do the Falls justice...you need to visit this new natural Wonder of the World.Written 10 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Some of that park was closed down as the bridge to the main attraction was washed out. Cost is 20.00 per person. No need for a guide as there are many signs and helpful staff.Written 4 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - David MAldeburgh, UK264 contributionsSadly there will be crowds and the Brazilian side is busier than the Argentinian side but the views are simply stunning, and the scale and noise hard to take in.
Should be on everyone’s bucket list.Written 15 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Inside the cassino there was a café bar where I stopped for a moment. I grabbed some coffee and got some courage to play on the casino machines. there as a room to poker, and another one with machines (some took only pesos, another real and some took only dolars) . there was another machine room to smokers. I am not a gamble person but I went there just for fun. This place can not be compared to cassinos in Vegas but it was fine.Written 28 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Melissa GNew York City, NY33 contributionsWe added the safari visit to our trip- but because our ride was early, we didn't really see many of the animals. However, it was still nice to just ride around and really feel like we are in the middle of nature and take in the beautiful surroundings.Written 10 November 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Perry BSydney, Australia2,690 contributionsThis Salto on the Machuco Path was one which embodied stunning natural beauty and one which literally stopped me in my tracks. It is less overrun with tourists than those on the Circuitos within the National Park (Inferior and Superior) because one has to invest a great deal of exertion to gret here on the kilometers long Machuco trail.Written 9 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SteveL'Escala, Spain12 contributionsWe visited Iguazu with Javier's help and had a wonderful time at this beautiful and awe inspiring place. Javier was very easy to communicate with you WhatsApp and always responded very quickly. With Javier's limited English it was an excellent opportunity over 3 days to practice our limited Spanish! Javier was friendly, polite, punctual, flexible and his vehicle immaculate. He picked us up and returned us from Puerto Iguazu in Argentina to the Belmont Hotel in Brazil and provided transport for a day at the Argentine Cataracts. He was flexible with timing changes and helped us in advance of the trip with understanding passport requirements. Thanks again Javier!Written 12 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- PalmtreeLeeds, UK100 contributionsIt was a cool experience as never been to an ice bar. They provided a warm coat and gloves. And also it was AN OPEN BAR! And very yummy drinks!
However we were allocated only 30 minutes in the bar which flew by as they played awesome music! Unsure why was only 30 minutes. Perhaps because it was very cold. Would like to have stayed for a little while longer!Written 20 May 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. He cannot speak much English but uses a Google Translate type of program to allow for any necessary information to be conveyed. He picked us up at the airport (holding a sign with our name) and drove us to the Brazilian side of the Falls. He waited while we toured there (as well as the nearby bird park), then drove us back over the border to Puerto Iguazu, took us for a brief stop at the Three Frontier area, then dropped us off at the hotel. The next day he picked us up early, drove us to the Argentinian side of the Falls, came back to get us and dropped us off at our hotel, and in the evening picked us up once again and took us to the airport. The cost for both days was 38,000 pesos (currently about $100 USD using the Blue rate exchange rate). We also gave a tip. We were happy with all aspects of Remises Wanda, and would recommend it to anyone travelling in the area.Written 17 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Charanjit M1 contributionI booked a biking trip with Iguazu bike tours on the strength of the reviews. I was prepared to be disappointed however as I thought it can’t possibly be that good. How wrong could I be! Ale and Nadia created a perfect day for us. Nadia picked us up promptly at 8am from our hotel. We got through border formalities in a few minutes and met Ale at the entrance to the park. He had the bikes ready which were good quality and very comfortable. We rode on quiet roads in the park and then joined the main road. Ale and Nadia explained a lot about the wildlife and plants. We left the bikes and explored the falls which were incredible. Ale and Nadia anticipated our every need. They had iced water and sun cream and treated us to Valentines chocolates and delicious ice cream. Ale is full of fun and devised lots of fun things to keep us amused. We even cycled over the bridge and right to our hotel. It was like spending a day with friends and family. We would love to do a longer trip with these two in the future!Written 16 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - k7vidyaLondon, UK855 contributionsI was looking forward to the boat ride under the falls. Iguassu Private Tours booked the boat ride in with Iguazu Jungle for us.
When we got to the ticket counter, we were asked about any medical conditions that might stop is from doing the boat ride as well as instructions on what happens when we get to the pier. The Boat Ride is not allowed for travelers with heart problems or other serious medical conditions neither pregnant women. We then got on a big jungle truck to get to the pier. The guys who came with us on the truck gave us some information about the jungle around us and they were so funny too. At the peer, we were given a big waterproof bag to put our belongings in and as we walked down the steps to the boat, we were given the life jacket. We had to keep our shoes on when we get on the boat, but had to take them off and put them in the bag before the boat left. Then the adventure began. The bags were fantastic. Not a drop went in! We had about 20 minutes of going slowly, passing different falls and taking photos. Then the announcement to put our phones/cameras away safely as we approached the feet of the bottom of the falls.
The boat went directly underneath the falls, and you get a proper soaking. The first time this happened, I thought my heart stopped. Then I was prepared! The force of the falls was so strong that it almost felt like the boat was going to sink. However It is an absolutely exhilarating experience, a pure adrenaline ride! The boat went under the falls four times before taking us back. There were some cubicles to get changed and the truck brought us back to the main entrance.
I have to say, everything was well organised and ran very smoothly. No drama, no fuss. Will definitely refer this company to my friends and family.Written 1 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MimMoyChafford Hundred74 contributionsWell! What a funny but exhilarating day today. First we zip lined across the canopy, then we rappelled down a waterfall, then trekked through the rainforest back to the truck. I have to admit I'm not the best at abseiling but It was so funny. The guide was Emanuel, 23 years old and speaks 4 languages .......OMG! I was laughing so much. I've taught him a new phrase to amuse his English speaking guests next time. All in all a fab experience. He's a credit to the company, very knowledgeable and makes you feel at ease.
I would recommend this trip to all ages.Written 18 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
