Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great tour! I liked the background on the multiple waves of German immigrants. The history of the German school was very cool.

San Martin is a cozy little town. They have tours that go there daily. I would recommend renting your own car, as it comes out way cheaper and you get to run on your own schedule and stop off at the lakes you want to.

We headed out early morning with no traffic and we were able to make it within 2.5 hours. The town is small enough that you only need 3-4 hours to see it all unless you want to dine at a restaurant. Most places open at 10 or 11, so be mindful if you want to get there early.

There's really only 2 lakes that I think are worth stoping at, that have a big enough area to swim in or enjoy (although I forget the names) but the area is clearly visible.

It was really a quick trip for us to visit. I would recommend this outing if you have nothing else to visit, like to see lots of lakes (that you might not be willing to jump in) and like cozy small towns. The drive there is scenic as well, but can get a little redundant and it is winding. Great drive if you enjoy...driving.

Our guide Nata was excellent. He added a lot of historical context and local lore to the tour. We were able to enjoy all aspects of the trip. He kept the entire group (only 8 ) engaged and interactive entire trip. Well worth the price.

Horses were in great shape and very safe. The views were magnificent. It was like you were in a Western Movie. Well worth the trip. The food was excellent. The guides were very responsive and friendly.

The guide was very accomodating. I would highly recommend, as I was the only English speaker on the trip. The views were incredible.

Was a nice way to see some more of Patagonia if you're staying in Bariloche. The trees were pretty and the ferry was nice.
I got pretty confused with which ferry to take, but it all worked out in the end. The Arrayanes Forrest was pretty, but Victoria Island was my favorite part of the day.

We enjoyed our 11 hour day trip from Bariloche with an enthusiastic English guide Joanna to see the 7 lakes on the itinerary. Comfort breaks were appropriately included and the lunch break in San Martin is pleasant. The walk in to the town from the lake is worthwhile just to compare it with Bariloche. Lots of places to eat beyond what the guide suggests in the 2 hour time slot although we just found a seat to eat our packed lunch overlooking the lake as we weren’t aware their was an opportunity to seek out a lunch venue during our schedule.
If you want to see more of the lakes in this area you won’t be disappointed with this trip. Our travel agent booked it for us through Turracion so not sure which company is the best to use but there appears to be several running on Tuesdays.

Great tour with Andy and Julian. Both very friendly and funny. We had already done some hiking and fishing, and this was a good way to see the Nahuel Huapi/Moreno area from a different perspective (on the water). My wife and I decided to share a boat and the paddling is not too strenuous at all. Andy and Juli also gave us our first Maté and shared some other cultural insights about Argentina in addition to explaining the area. Would certainly recommend!

Two of us wanted good adventure with some challenge. Juan allowed us to finalize plans that morning and we chose Cerro Goye. It was good exercise but not requiring technical climbing skills. We made it to the tree line but extreme winds caused us to decide that was enough for us. Loved the whole day and Juan was super pleasant to spend time with. Would use him again for sure!

We were picked up en route from our Estancia and enjoyed a scenic drive to John’s camp a small Patagonia farm. Wetsuits and safety equipment provide d before a short drive to the start of the white water rafting experience. The guides provide a good safety briefing and we’re able to communicate in good English. The rapids were negotiated safely with good instructions from the boat guide. The water is very cold but the chance to float down a rapid should not be missed. End up in Chile ad a short steep walk to the vehicle before heading back to the farm for lunch. All in all a good experience.

A wonderful experience on the lake. We went on the 5pm sail. Small group of people. Great skipper and loved the opportunity to take a swim.

Very difficult to chose what to do but you'll never be dissappointed with anything in Bariloche, certainly a charming beauty spot.
