Delicious beer and always great service from the lovely staff at the Tap Yard. Nice setting with live sport and street food on site plus a shop to take some beers home.

We visit higginson Park quite often and it is really just an average park. The playground there is very new and there are always lots of young kids there on the playground at the weekend. In the winter, the park floods quite badly but it is quite big and you can go on long walks there.

We had a very enjoyable visit to Marlow. Which included crossing the lovely bridge on foot and the views whilst crossing. The motorist however (depending on their vehicles), found it quite a chore navigating between the narrow barriers.

As a season ticket holder at Wycombe Wanderers I watch league football there but whenever they are playing away I treat myself to a visit to Marlow. I have to be brutally honest and say I actually enjoy my visits to Marlow more than Adams Park now!! Not as expensive to get in, fabulous new caterer (the old one used to be good as well) not like the rubbish at Wycombe; nice bar and plastic glasses so can take a drink outside in a civilised manner and that includes local Rebellion brews; plus the football is more enjoyable. No goalkeepers getting yellow cards for time wasting and really is non-stop action. These lads really do put there all into their game.

Unfortunately, there is not much historical information on the church website or that we could find in the building. However, this Grade II* listed large parish church was (re)built in 1832 to 1835 in Perpendicular style to the designs of architect, Charles Frederick Inwood (1798-1840), the second son of Neoclassical architect William Inwood. Later phases were added by John Oldrid Scott (1841-1913), a younger son of Sir George Gilbert Scott, and who was a distinguished church architect in his own right.

The present building was started shortly after the opening of Marlow's noted suspension bridge in 1831, which you can touch from the churchyard. Designed in a characteristic late Georgian manner and built of brick, numerous additions were made later in the 19th Century, including the chancel (area around the altar), and the replacement of Inwood's wide trussed-roof interior with a more conventional aisled arrangement which removed the galleries.

There are some impressive stained glass windows and plenty of memorials, including a side chapel, to the locally famous Wethered family.

Very small but nice amount of information about the local area. Staff very pleasant and informative. Well worth a look. It's free but well worth making a donation.

Peaceful way to spend a bit of time, just watching the world go by and the boats pass through. It’s close to the weir so nice scenery looking down the river too.

I went to see this statue with my young children for a nice activity for the weekend. It’s slightly larger than I imagine him being but great otherwise. My kids loved it and I enjoyed educating them on the Olympian! Would recommend a visit if you are in marlow.

This simple memorial commemorates a well known theatre producer who was lost on the Lusitania and features a seated naked woman which apparently is a reference to his work in launching the careers of many actresses. The inscription hints that one should not mourn the passing of thespians, which is fine by me.
