Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Gate Lodge was excellent, cozy. Personally I don't think it's ideal for four adults, but 2 with 2 children it's fine. Only going on the seating in the living room though.
The tour was fantastic, we went out at 10am. We were lucky and saw many of the deer and birds, Dave the Great Bustard is quite a caricature and gave chase to do his job of protecting.
We went out again (on our own around the sanctuary) when it was warmer, the next day at about 2pm. Didn't see so much of the animals, I guess they were also enjoying the warmer day, still got some photo's though.
It was a wonderful 3 night stay.
We also went up to Hunstanton to see the Sea Life on the Sunday, well worth the visit. Right on the sea front, with a fairground for the adventurous.
    Hopefully we will go again.

Lovely place to visit, we didn't go in the house due to having the dog. Field of poppies, cornflowers and wild flowers on the walk around the estate, truly beautiful. Nice second hand book stall onsite, kitchen garden . Dog friendly room in cafe . Nice visit

Every year we drive by and think about stopping here but never get round to it.
This year we did and wished we had done it sooner, it is so close to the main road but hidden from view. Lovely to walk around the insides, although such a shame there is so much '2024' graffiti all over the walls

I visited Gooderstone Water Gardens for a couple of hours on Friday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very pleasant and peaceful and the gardens are beautiful.
The man on the admission desk was very friendly and helpful.
I didn’t use the tearoom, but there is a tearoom serving food and drink.
    Would definitely return!

We visited on a cold May day. Not very busy. Great value for money, lots of things to do.
The tractor ride to feed the deer was fun and the kids loved it.

Our local museum, and a great source of wonderful information about the history of this beautiful part of the world. Is home the Seahenge, so well worth a visit just for that.

Such a gem and not to be missed. I just immersed myself at my own pace. Very warm friendly welcome by all of the very knowledgeable and passionate staff and on leaving the museum too. Super tea shop! Excellent cake.

We loved roaming round this beautiful and ancient minster, packed with surprises. For example there are two huge memorial brasses from the mid-14th century. Also the circular stained glass window was stunning, and the gardens at the front were well-kept and colourful. There were some stoical and friendly ladies offering tea, coffee and cakes inside, I think this is a regular thing from 11am to 1pm every Saturday, but check before you go - we are out-of-towners and this is the first visit we have made. (The service and food is way better than you'll find at one of the local chain-type coffee houses!!)

Lovely castle ruins. We went mid week and there was plenty of room in the small car park. I would imagine this is packed at weekends and Bank Holidays
We had a great walk around and also chatted with some locals as RAF Marham planes put on a nice display for us

A lovely well laid out area. It was just a shame that the coffee shop was shut while we were there..

Went to the stock car and banger racing ‘Wacky Races’ on Easter Monday. A great selection of formulas, including some that we’d never seen before (Siamese bangers and 4x4s) and some cracking showmanship from all the drivers. A brilliant and highly entertaining day!
