Our 2 children 8y and almost 5y loved paddling around in the sea, spotting seals and having the best hot chocolate and biscuits before being thrown in by Connor.
His knowledge, professionalism and humour were spot on and our 10 and 11 year old kids were kayaking very confidently within minutes of being on the water.

A small museum but is well worth a visit , packed with lots of interesting items and plenty of folders with interesting information for you to read, the quiz which was given to my children age 12 and 16 was great,...
Nice quiz for kids, interesting exhibits (including the original lens from the Rua Reidh Lighthouse) and a good choice of books in the shop.

My children especially enjoyed the bird watching point where they could play with a cctv camera to zoom in on the birds and we're delighted to see a greater spotted woodpecker at close quarters.
I have bee here so many times as a child and returned last year; its just perfect

We were lucky to have no one else there (probably due to the bad weather) so the kids just ran wild!

I would highly recommend Gairloch Trekking Centre to any family with kids who enjoy this kind of activity.
My children and niece had a fantastic day with Danielle and her team recently.

We love it here - the gardens are beautiful, in a lovely setting, and the newly-opened house was a gem - plenty to see and do and things for children as well.
Charming family memorabilia, especially things from their travels in their private library/sitting room, and the kitchen, outlined with the many wonderful herbs planted in the estate gardens.
