Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We will never forget this wonderful trip through Lewis, Harris, and the Outer Hebrides. Our little group visited fascinating historical sites, stunning landscapes and gorgeous beaches, learning about Scottish history along the way. Everything about Rabbie’s was friendly, organized, and well-planned. Helen was an expert guide who made long drives feel short with her stories and local song choices, and we felt like we were leaving behind a friend after the three days were over. My son was the only kid on the trip, and Helen was great with him. We highly recommend this experience and hope to take a trip with Rabbie’s and Helen again someday.

The Outer Hebrides was our third consecutive Rabbies small bus tour. We thank Iain for a beautiful journey. He delighted us with his knowledge of the area, care, captivating stories and knowledge of Scottish history. There were numerous moments when our fellow bus travellers said 'WOW' in chorus taking in the breathtaking scenery.

I booked the 5 day tour with the Hairy Coo and I can’t even put into words how incredible those 5 days were. John ‘the only King of the north’ was a fantastic tour guide. I have been on quite a few tours and John was the best guide I have ever had. He is knowledgeable and cares so much for his homeland, it’s truly remarkable. I can’t wait for the day when I come back to take this tour again, because I 110% will be back. He was right, I do feel like I left a part of myself in Scotland.
Thank you John and the Hairy Coo!

I just completed a 10 Day tour with Rabbies, which was a combination of two of their tours. The tour was the 10 Orkney and Outer Hebrides. Being two different tours, I had two guides and switched buses in between. First, I won the tour guide lottery with Billy for part 1 and Keith for part 2. They both shared so much information and knowledge of Scotland, played great music, and went out of their way to offer unique experiences. I think everyone had a blast!! Switching tours in between was a breeze and thanks to my wonderful tour guides, I was able to join in another Rabbies tour on my "free" day in between. This part of Scotland was beyond my expectations and so beautiful. I cannot wait to go back and hope to do more Rabbie's tours in the future.

We had hoped to do the "Untamed Northwest" tour, but the "untamed Scottish weather" meant that we'd see nothing but clouds. No worries! Jamie messaged us with multiple options & we spent a lovely day nearer Inverness learning more about the Picts & Scottish history. This was a highlight of our 12-day Scottish trip & we'll definitely book again on our next visit.

Our tour guide Rory made the 3 day tour of Lewis and Harris very enjoyable. We met several really delightful folks from several other countries, and became friends which was an unexpected plus. The B&B's chosen for us were very accomodating. The visit to an independent Harris Tweed weaver for education and demonstration was the highlight of our trip. The lengthy ferry ride was smooth. We wished for more stops and for more history/backstory to the places we were seeing, but we were very appreciative of Rory's willingness to change the itinerary when we found ourselves overwhelmed with other busses/sightseers. All in all, this was a very nice adventure.

Eight days exploring the highlands with Steve Paterson as our guide was an incredible experience. Steve’s love of his country and knowledge of her distort and folklore brought everything to life.

Ali B crushed it on every level. Made things personable and also gave great facts along the way. Loved it and would definitely recommend this trip if you want something different.

This was an amazing experience, made even more so by James , our guide. I would give him 10 stars if I could, he constantly went over and above the required standard to look after us. Scenery was stunning, so much packed in and everyone was totally catered for. This is a thoroughly recommended tour, you won't be disappointed. I would and probably will, do it again!

It was the most amazing tour! We loved every inch of Scotland and its people.
And our guide, Rich, was the one who made our trip go from great to the best ever!
He is a natural storyteller and an amazingly and genuinely good person.

    Thank you haggis adventures!

While there were a couple of minor glitches, this tour was fabulous. Our driver, Alex, was full of stories to share. He was always helpful and shared his passion for Scotland. There was a variety of experiences that gave insight into the history and life of Lewis and Harris as well as the scenic journey to and from the Hebrides.

An amazing experience, the tour was led by Andrew and Richie, a pair of professional, and most knowledgeable guides. Weather was excellent, the sites visited just have to be experienced and the Isles of Harris and Lewis especially provided a very satisfing mix of fantastic scenery and unique historic sites. Thoroughly recommended.
