The beginning of this walk is on paved road, however this is a steep climb up (about 2.4 km) Apparently I am told 839 feet up..the last little bit of pathway is on cobblestone. The views are breathtaking and memorable. Don’t go when it’s hot and do bring water with you..The watchtower overlooking the city of Pollenca at the the bottom is worth the walk. You have to be fit to do this.. Nice medieval chapel and cafe at the top…

We walked up theses 365 Calvari steps since everyone told us that it is a must if you go to Pollenca. The steps were built in late 19th , early 20th century. At the beginning of going up, the steps are not steep. As you climb, you find many little shops to check out as well. At the very top, you visit the Celvario Chapel . The views from the very top is quite picturesque…At the bottom of these steps , you find a square with bars and restaurants which you enjoy afterwards.

Visiting the Formentor Lighthouse is a must while staying in Mallorca. Drive carefully and keep in mind that this place cannot be accessed by car during the summer peak time only by small buses.
The view was great and the wind was heavy upon our visit in late October 2023.

As we walked around this quaint town of Pollenca, we arrived at his charming square surrounded with bars , restaurants of all kind. Not far is the church, Santa Maria de Pollenca. It’s a pleasure to walk through the alleys around it or just sit and have a cerviza with a bite to eat and watch the world go by.

A fantastic cultural start to a night out in Pollença. The usual warm welcome with some particularly fine cava and tonight’s entertainment was an incredibly talented classical trio - piano, flute and cello. The great thing about Sala61 is that you don’t need to be a classical music buff to enjoy the experience, it’s just great, accessible entertainment for everyone.

Fabulous food and fresh fayre - love to just wander or buy. Also more artisan crafts in the square- great to shop around the stalls and also in the shops - east to get the bus in to town if you are at the coast

Prolific artist with changing maturing style over the decades. As art aficionado's we went back a 2nd time. Several very good works interspersed with good and modest pieces. Interesting colour palette and a degree of orginalary.

Paseo del Port de Pollença is the main promenade in this town, a coastal town in Mallorca. It is a very nice place, where there are the typical shops/restaurants and bars on the first line of the coast, so you can buy, eat and drink almost allyou want. Also, the promenade is very beautiful and you can see wonderful views of the coast, the sea and the mountains, which surrounds the town (it is located in a bay). A place to come with all the family or friends. Also, there are some bechaes and some children park to enjoy all family.

Cala Boquer is a bay located near to Port de Pollença, a little coastal town included in Pollença, in Mallorca Island. It is a wonderful pebble beach, where you can wbath, sunbath or only see the fantastic views of the sea, the coas and the rocks. To arrive there, it is necessary to do a hike from Port de Pollença and following the Boquer Valley. It is a very nice walk to do with all family, where you can see goats, local vegetation and mountains until you arrive to the sea: Boquer Bay. I came here with my 6 years daughter and she enjoyed a lot with the hike and the coast. Pittifully, it was a windy day and it was not possible to bath. No problem. I am sure we will return!

As we walked around Pollenca, we stumbled in front of this museum . The entrance is free and the staff was friendly . We visited this strange assortment of different art, some were historic, some gothic and some contemporary. I found it not to my taste. Still a lovely 45 minute visit.
