Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Brillliant. BUT don't even consider if if you're not a confident and experienced driver. Lots of blind corners on cliff edges with no barriers. Or hairpin bends, ditto. Single lane with passing places, and you need to be able to reverse. 25% inclines that go over the summit and then direclty down the other side with an immediate 90degree turn above a steep, steep hill down to a stream.. and no barriers. We loved it. Dramatic, romantic and incredible scenery. Everyone says Applecross is the drive to do, but compared with the Drumbeg Loop it's a picnic in the park. Do not drive it in a camper.

This is an incredible beach that you must visit. It's one of the best beaches in the UK. It looks stunning during sunny days and is a perfect spot for paddleboarding or enjoying water activities. There is so much to do and see that even when it's busy, you can find a quiet spot on the cliffs where you can relax. Paid parking is available next to the beach. Without a doubt, this beach is a must-visit spot in Scotland, a total unspoil natural beauty.

We loved it here, it's a stunning beach and the walk to the broch and salmon house and onto the next beach is just lovely. The campsite facilities were excellent, it looks a bit ramshackle but don't be put off, the owners clearly know what campers need and nothing is too much troublem Sorry to leave, it was just superb

Without a doubt the most beautiful beach on NC500 route and there were some beauties! Single track road to it but don't be put off. Even in October...it was stunning.

Lovely little walk through the woods to the stone beach. Great for the dog to run off lead and stop off for a picnic. Car park was free too which was a bonus

Loved this beautiful, easy walking trail at Leitir Easaidh! Stunning views of mountains, lochs and gorgeous wildflowers and heather. Saw hundreds of dragonflies too. No adders thankfully! It’s very scenic and had a really enjoyable hour there today with my dog. Would highly recommend.

This is Europe’s smallest castle believe it or not. The castle is quite ugly and doesn’t have any purpose to be there. The walk there is nice but watch your step because there is sheep poo. Also the view is stunning.

This is a beautiful narrow-ish river in lochinver with stunning views. There are some walks along it and you can have a little stop there to have a look at the nature.

Of all the mountains in Scotland Suilven is the one that is most instantly recognizable. Once seen never forgotten.

This church is my personal favourite church In Lochinver. It looks weirdly odd but I think it looks good in that way.

This church does the job got a town like lochinver. It is very nice even though it is small but even though I like it, it isn't really my style of church. Not to mention it is in a wonderful location.
