Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great arena to watch basketball - and as a bonus Lakers won! Had access to the AmEx Centurion Lounge that was cool - 2 free drinks and somewhere to relax before the game. Would love to return next time we are in LA

Our daughter is an architecture student so we went to tour the Disney concert hall. The only negative is you are not allowed to look inside the concert hall seating area with the stage but only the hallways, gardens and outside. We enjoyed studying this beautiful structure but the concert hall should allow tours to see it all if you are going to offer this as an experience.

Was staying around the corner so figured I’d check it out. This was a Sunday afternoon and it was crowded, mostly because the wide sidewalk is taken up by street vendors. Most of the street vendors are selling Mexican snack food. But it was a windy day and some of their umbrellas would fall and I was worried someone would get hurt. There was also a CD selling guy and a 3 card monte scam artist (do people really still fall for that?). There are also people hawking “Hollywood tours” and people in costumes who will take a photo of you for a few. Overall it is not pleasant here but you can see the stars in the sidewalk and check that off your list.

Got a last minute ticket for a ticket to the Dodgers vs my home team, the Nationals. We took the Dodgers Express from the South Bay station - definitely convenient to get there for free using the bus versus Uber, but it was a long wait and it took a while to get to the stadium, even with an hour prior of planning. We got there after 2nd inning started, so definitely plan ahead. We had to walk to the main road after the game due to the stadium buses being insufficient. Additionally, the stadium itself needs better signage to navigate, that was difficult, but the environment and experience itself was valuable and nothing like any other baseball stadium, even my home stadium.

Really nice are to have a romantic walk around. Cute little bridges and canals with pretty flowers and wildlife. Even got stuck behind a duck party as they headed home after a 'hard' day swimming. It's a really pretty area and worth visit.

Only knocked 1 star off as it is a bit of a pain to get to on public transport.

We opted for the VIP Experience, thinking it was solely for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. However, we saw everything but Harry Potter until we left the group and explored on our own. Harry Potter World was great but we didn't get to see much of it because, by the time we finally found it and began to explore it, it was late afternoon and I was getting tired. I would go back again but not get the VIP Experience again. That was disappointing!

It is the only free-of-charge part of Universal City. It is interesting and one of the most popular attractions in LA. It is a picturesque and joyful walk and some outlets are available for souvenirs.

Amazing place to see all the footprints and handprints of celebrities. You feel bad walking on them and damaging them. It was nice to see cinematic history along the floor including modern and late actors and actresses.

It can get pretty busy here, so we highly recommend going first thing in the morning when there are less people about so you can see the prints and take photos if you want to.

I have been here many times in the past from Tucson, AZ. This trip I was pleasantly surprised that the actual street and csurrounding area were clean and seemed safe. The vendor stands were nicely stocked and I made sure to visit the taquito stand at the end across from Union Station. My grandmother first took me there as a child and I have taken my daughter and granddaughter as well as others. It is a local icon. We visited the old homesite and purchased some items. There was some music and the weather was sunny and cool. There is a public parking lot across the street.

This transportation center has a little of everything. We had an hours long Amtrak layover and enjoyed the helpful staff and beautiful surroundings, especially the Christmas trees. Several restaurants, some shopping and it seemed very clean as far as public buildings go

Nice place to take a stroll and take some photos. Lots of food choices. Difficult to make a decision. Good place to purchase Japanese products. Worth checking out

A must see when visiting LA. A cool funky beach with lots of shops and huge sandy beach. My family and I enjoyed very much, highly recommend.

This campus is large, but more importantly, it is beautiful. It is well worth visiting for the beauty of the campus alone. Very cool.

The cemetery is free to get in and not very big so easy to walk around. It is a working cemetery so the office is set up to manage that aspect and not to help tourists find celebrity graves. Maps are available at the florist for $6. Although the map is a useful start, the locations shown are not 100% accurate and it is not easy to tell of the grave is inside a building or outside. Access to Judy Garland's grave for instance is from the outside and not obvious on the map. Some graves are easy to find while others more difficult. Some I couldn't find at all. Definitely a must visit for anyone interested in Hollywood and the movies.
