What travellers are saying
- NicoleD13 contributionsThe Mission grounds were beautiful. The history of the Mission and California’s colonization by Europeans is interconnected. I loved learning about this history. They preserved the rooms and artifacts well. It was a pleasant afternoon. We spent approximately 1.5 hrs on the Mission grounds and that was just enough time. The town is lovely as well and we enjoyed wandering through the shops.Written 28 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LightPacker77720036 contributionsFantastic way to spend a Saturday or Sunday. First off, don't drive, take the Amtrak, it literally drops you off at the entrance to Los Rios and you get to relax on the train coming and going, no traffic concerns! Los Rios is the oldest residential neighborhood in California. Adobe, Victorian and many historic buildings. There are multiple restaurants and cafe's all serving outstanding food. Trevors at the track is my favorite. So spend a relaxing day stroling through old CaliforniaWritten 6 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Erina199 contributionsThis is a great place! We went here for a day trip and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with the animals. At the time of our visit, they had an Emu, pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, goats, a sheep, horses, llama, Alpaca, llampacas, chickens, and a rooster. The main entrance, I believe, is under construction so use the Los Rios St. entrance, its right next to the Coffee shop. You can feed the animals a container of fresh vegetables for $6, its great. You can even go in the goat/sheep enclosure. Children can ride the horses, the horses are guided/held by the employee for safety. On the other side of the ranch is a play area for kids. They have a mini train ride, mini tractor ride for toddlers, jungle gym setup, and a crane machine just to name a few. We will definitely come back, there's lots to do and see for every family member.Written 19 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MissNonaWildomar, CA31 contributionsWe camped at live oak camp and enjoyed exploring and relaxing at our camp site. Love oak is set back from the highway with a ridge between that helps buffer the road noise so it's very quiet with views of nature all around. We got lucky and were at site #2, which is against the creek area with plenty of shade and only one neighboring site. They also have equestrian camp grounds so you can bring your horses for some nice trail rides. Understandably there are no dogs allowed because of this, so my adventure pup stayed home this trip. We spent most of our time hiking and exploring the creek, but they have a large playground under some even larger oak trees with picnic tables and shelters nearby. There is also a nature center we hope to visit next time we camp here. There is a shopping center 5 minutes away for any supply runs you may need after you get here. Water is currently shut off through the entire park so be sure to bring some with you; we grabbed a couple of the 2.5 gallon jugs with the built in spigot at the grocery store and were just fine. Speaking of dry camp, they have a no alcohol rule to deter the party crowd and maintain a family friendly atmosphere which I appreciate. My hubby did have a couple beers and no one bothered him about it. Just keep it discreet and don't get rowdy, it seems if you don't become an issue they won't make an issue of it. The rangers and employees we interacted with were all very nice and welcoming.Written 8 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SFTRVLRSan Francisco, CA2,097 contributionsWent to a wedding here and it is a gorgeous and large mission church. Note that it is separate from the historic mission and is free to enter.Written 24 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Phil H1 contributionWife and I love the Coach House for dinner and concerts.
I had a heart attack a few years ago, adopted a plant-based diet, so was pleasantly surprised to see the Impossible steak on the menu.
Immensely enjoyed Queen Nation this past Thursday!

You can easily spend an afternoon here looking at their collections.Written 26 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Beverly KSimi Valley, CA1,223 contributionslocated in the heart of Los rios . It has parking too . The parking is nice since the parking or even driving down Ramos street can be difficult with all the people walking around and the narrow street. The play ground is nice for kids.Written 12 March 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- on_the_go_98765Tucson18,350 contributionsThe Friends of the Library bookstore is still open but the main library is being totally redone to bring this county library up to contemporary, current standards. This means rewiring the building for the needs of this era.Written 6 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kristy GonzalezRiverside, CA20 contributionssome really cool stuff but extremely expensive. We had found some pretty cool things for our barber shop but the price tags were a bit ridiculous. Maybe sense its in a tourist area?Written 25 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- bailarina5678Seattle, WA163 contributionsWas there for my daughter's horse show. It is less than 10 minutes off of I5, directly across the street from a shopping center that has a Starbucks, grocery store, Rite Aid, a ban and a few other retailers. The venue itself is very nice. Parking is easy and close to show grounds.Written 24 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
