Our family reunion group ranged in age from 18 to 83, and riding among the aspens and evergreens, crossing small mountain streams, all under a crisp blue sky was a highlight of our trip for all of us.
My husband, children, ages 10 and 12, and I were mesmerized by the meandering trails through yellow leaved aspen groves and the spectacularly vast mountain top views!

Fun people watching: kayakers, paddle boarders and tubers playing in the Arkansas River, people strolling by water, chilling in hammocks, kids digging in sand, fun water-side restaurants....a good time!
Beautiful!! Perfect Family Outing & Photo Op!

Small mountain but unlimited paths available if you are willing to cut through the trees!!! Just take the creek bed off to the left of the family ski area and have a blast!
We just came back from the long MLK weekend at Monarch skiing with friends and I am continually amazed at what a great family experience this is.

I've been coming here since I was a child; it's worth the drive and definitely worth the tram ride to the top.

It was a fabulous family fun day...I’d highly recommend it.....the scenery is incredible as it’s the Bighorn Sheep Canyon, with the Arkansas River nearby, and such beautiful rocky features.
Great guides, very entertaining and animated :) Both the Zipline and the Rope Course are great family activities, be prepared to spend the whole day there - kids might get tired!

Keep your eyes on small children because they could easily take a tumble from the top of the hill.

The smaller pools with the warmer water were so relaxing I loved the zero entry the kids loved the bigger pool with the slide and diving board and also racing in the lanes.
Fun warm shallow pools for everyone from kids to seniors.
