Everything is hands on , you can touch sharks, stingrays , jellyfish, crabs..... Very well organized, kids also loved interactive games...As addition to aquarium they also have lizards, frogs, meerkats and butterf...
For small children (and adults), you can pet friendly sting-less rays, watch seals at feeding time, and enjoy a first-class aquarium with lots to do and touch.

The island itself is gorgeous with plenty of covered and uncovered picnic tables, a place to buy hotdogs, soda and cold water, lots of open spaces for kids to run, beautiful hiking trails, and a lighthouse to tour.
We had a blast exploring the island and the kids loved the boat trip too. There was a lot of garbage on some of the rocky areas, but really who's fault is that.

We have been visiting this museum with our children over the years at various ages and stages, and having been to kids' museums throughout the continent, Stepping Stones remains our favorite!
The theater space is gorgeous, and then fact that they have teens who are volunteers tasked with entertaining the little kids makes it a joy for everyone.

What I love the most is easy access, big parking, beach volleyball field, restaurant, and great playground for children.
The kids have playgrounds with water poring out of them, beautiful trees along a sidewalk that goes the perimeter so you can walk the whole area.

It has outside stairs, a long flight, but very interesting and very great with kids who see the train within a yard from the upper windows and they can move the levers and ring the alarm bell.
Great for kids and railroad lovers.

Awesome playground with Eagle's Nest for kids to climb in and tree-trunk slides, but the stars of the show here are the otters, heritage hens, sheep, oxen and pigs on the farm side.
Great place to take the kids, from the wonderful playground, to the animals, to the special exhibits, to the hiking trails, to the special events and activities.

From the great, large kids playground ( built by town volunteers) to the boardwalk, numerous BBQ and picnic table setups and the free dog area ( off season) it reaaly provides something for everyone.
It's a family-friendly, traditional New England clambake, based around a very generous lobster dinner (two decent-sized lobsters per person, plus all the trimmings).
