Awesome playground with Eagle's Nest for kids to climb in and tree-trunk slides, but the stars of the show here are the otters, heritage hens, sheep, oxen and pigs on the farm side.
Great place to take the kids, from the wonderful playground, to the animals, to the special exhibits, to the hiking trails, to the special events and activities.

We had a blast exploring the island and the kids loved the boat trip too. There was a lot of garbage on some of the rocky areas, but really who's fault is that.

We have been visiting this museum with our children over the years at various ages and stages, and having been to kids' museums throughout the continent, Stepping Stones remains our favorite!
The theater space is gorgeous, and then fact that they have teens who are volunteers tasked with entertaining the little kids makes it a joy for everyone.
