Lots to do....Strand Theatre for great movies, pre-show organ playing and sing-alongs; great restaurants surrounding the square and during the summer months, great concerts to enjoy with family and friends!
... it's Saturday mornings browsing the Farmers Market or wandering through the many unique shops or dining in the yummy restaurants, we always enjoy the hospitality and energy we feel there... Very family oriented.

The welcome center fronts onto the busy tracks- convenient for parents with train-crazy kids, because they can see the frequent trains blast by up close, but protected from accidents by a large iron fence.

Our group of three children and five adults (including grandparents) spent quite a bit of money, but Grandpa was more than happy to indulge the children with (too many) quarters for the arcade games.
The indoor mini golf maze through the monster laser light and glow in the dark lights make the golfing for kids fun!

Great skaters park with new ramps, nice trail to walk, dog park for small and large dogs, playgrounds for young children and older children, picnic tables, and beautiful green fields.
There's a mile long track with elevation changes, play sets for big kids or small, ample parking for daily use, and even a dog park for our four-legged friends.

There is a great museum you will want to see at the base of the mountain giving accounts of the war, etc. Areas to picnic in, hiking trails, pastures for kids to play and of course to take your dog along.
An amazing mountain, perfect for fitness requirements or a relaxing hike with friends/family.

Our favorite spot of the entire day was the SunTrust OnUp Experience in the Battery which had cool baseball simulators for adults and kids alike plus financial tips for adults.
Good food options (we like H+F Burger), a fun family atmosphere, including a kids area, and a huge selection of shopping and dining options surrounding the ballpark.
